Hey guys, kind of confused here. So I have 1.5 and it works and its all awesome, I just noticed the 2.0, I have bought the map already but it looks like a totally new download. So I'm assuming 2.0 is going to be the release build eventually? Is there any reason to keep 1.5 installed? Will 2.0 alpha eventually move to beta? If there are no answers that's fine just wondering what would be the best to install right now, I generally don't care if it crashes or there are bugs(that I can report) but I'm more curious as to what one of these builds is going to be worked on more. Thanks!

Correction, I had something else running at the time and didn't know it lol... I get a solid 60 now no matter what im doing, sorry lol. I 4930 at 4.4gig 16 gig at 1444 MHz 780TI If that helps.

I get around 45-55 fps in the cockpit view in the air and around the same on the ground.. for reference all other modules are a solid 60 other then extremely close to the ground or in the middle of a city, something's up, oh well, it's to be expected. Gives me time to get the 3 screens working, when spanned with NVidia it plasters your face against the front of the cockpit lol, need to be able to zoom out more!

Heh..... that's assuming I know it has autopilot... Yeah I kind of just jump into these things and figure it out as I go, I have yet to read any manual, probably the reason I spend most of my time in the p51 or the fw... my god have you seen the controls in the a10? Eventually I'll pick one and "get into it" I'm just not sure what one to start with. I'm leaning towards the KA-50 So far tho, I have managed to start -ALL- the aircraft except the saber,a10, and fw without reading the manual, something I'm rather happy with:)

It hovers??? Your kidding right lol.... I was playing around with the MI-8 earlier today, I am now 100% convinced that nobody actually fly's these in real life and its just a giant conspiracy, what an uncontrollable monster!

I have to say.. this community is amazing... I was expecting to be flamed and my inbox filled with hate mail... I love the fact that I cant fly these fine planes.. if I could.. that would be a horrible disrespect to the pilots who fought and died for us... I will admit though.. I had no comprehension of how hard they actually had it!

Yeah, good point guys.. I think its more of a shock to realizing just how much I actually DONT understand about even the basic concepts of flight...I'm so use to dogfighting being YANK that stick and cram it into next week without penalty, I had no idea you could stall out even doing that.. or that you had to be gentle in the turns.. or you couldn't just yank thrust and turn in any direction you wanted without your rudder slapping you about the face lol. One thing... I have to say.. fu wingmen.. I am SO sick of them crashing into me as I'm taking off... did they ever think that perhaps I NEEDED the whole runway? to skid across over and over before I could get my useless butt into the air LOL. I will say... rudder pedals.. yeah.. anybody who doesn't have them take it from somebody who is clearly casual trying to be more that they are as MUCH of a change as a hotas is to a keyboard..... its just something about that granulated control that you can use with your feet.. that are not being used for anything else that after a few hours REALLY just started to be natural to me... EDIT: I should probably add I was in no way trying to insult this sim or DCS.. I'm just very impressed and perhaps humbled.

I so grew up on f-19 stealth fighter... and janes games... granted I had to take a break for a while due to real life.. but I was around for falcon 3 and 4 and what came after.. But this game.... especially this module.. what in the holy @#$. I think it took me today.. close to an HOUR to just get off the ground, and I'm not even joking, and to add insult to LAWZYOUSUCK I am using a warthog setup and rudder pedals lol.. Once in the air I can "somewhat" aim this monster.. but dogfighting? are you kidding? if I can do a 360 degree turn its a good day.. all she seems to want to do is start shuddering then go into crazy ass spins... if this is even 5% of what real pilots had to deal with back then.. then just wow... All that said..... I freaking love these DCS games and I will buy every single module that ever comes out, just because:) p.s.. I can start and fly that ka-50 like a mofo(I can start and get it off the ground:))

First off I want to say sorry if this is the wrong forum for this, if it is mods feel free to move. Here is my issue, I cant JOIN the service, every time I do it says invalid serial, I have never once used a pirated copy of this game on my computer(I'm a hard-core sim guy from the 90's....I've bought -every- module for this game even though I suck at all of them). I've double checked my login and password, the dcs module manager showed me as valid for all the stuff I have bought and I can play it all. Where do I start troubleshooting this? Thanks!

Hmm that's a good idea ill have to let him know. Right now he is just using it with a Saitek x52 throttle, but I think he has his heart set on getting one of the warthog throttles, never thought of selling it privately tho, not that many gamers up here lol

Heh, that really too bad, there is no way I can convince him to -rebuy- the stick just to get the throttle also lol!

Good day all, I have a question. So I have a Warthog hotas and I really love it, turns out when my buddy when down to the states he bought just the stick(I didn't even know it came like that, even in its own box) anyways, long story short he wants the throttle now, is there anyplace you can buy that? We have looked everywhere and we cant find it anyplace!! Thanks!!
