  1. Hello. Has anyone converted the ipadpit keypoard lua file into a diff.lua? If so would the be willing to share it with me? Recreating it is a daunting task and I would be incredibly appreciative! Alternatively, is there a method for converting a keyboard/control .lua file into a diff.lua? Thanks in advance for anyone who takes the time to respond. Mitch
  2. Thanks for the steer towards DCS World. Problem solved. The mission works fine there. Glad I made the move anyway. Had a ton of fun with the p-51!!! Mitch
  3. Hey, thanks for the quick response. I'm flying the steam version, but can put the time into making the switch to the DCS version if you think it will make a difference. I've wanted to anyway but ran into key issues and just never took it all the way. I watched that video you linked. Again, this must be me, but I don't see what I'm doing that is any different from what I see from wheels up through the second waypoint. I just don't make it that far. I'll spend some extra time studying the course stuff I see in the video and see if what I'm doing is somehow different. I ran into the same thing in BFT03, BTW. Everything was good through the first part of the pattern right up until I turned left to 300 to enter downwind. Sort of a coincidence that it is 300 degrees again, but I turned to 300, seemed to be right on the course line as indicated both on the CDI and the TAD but was warned and disqualified within 15 seconds. Odd. Is there some information I can convey to the fourm members that might help me understand how I'm messing this up? Mitch
  4. Hello, Since I can't find anything on this forum on this topic I'm certain that there is something fundamental I'm not getting about this, but I'm attempted this mission (both as part of the campaign and individually) a dozen times and fail at the same spot every time. After I'm cleared to take off I rotate off the runway, settle into a 180 knot climb after cleaning up the aircraft. My course is 300 degrees. About 30 seconds after takeoff I receive a warning from the instructor that I'm off course. About 10 seconds later, the instructor terminates the training. I've watched the compass on the hud, made sure the CDI is locked on to waypoint 2 and is showing a 300 degree heading to the waypoint. I'm dead on the little green course line on the TAD. It's a little frustrating to get shut down and not understand what I'm doing wrong. I suspect it has something to do with my climb profile but if so, I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong there. Anyone have any advice for me? Mitch
  5. Hello...new to the forums, and DCS in general. I have my iPadpit set up, an X-52 with a reasonably good starter button mapping and track IR working. Whew! I'm almost there... I just can't seem to get A-10 to recognize keystrokes generated by the iPadpit. I've purchased autohotkey. I've loaded the DCSKeyProfile21.lua. I can see the keystrokes being generated in the TouchIR local command echo window. I can even press iPadPit buttons while in the control options mapping section of the simulator and have A-10 tell me that the identical command already exists. The only thing that isn't happening is that any of the buttons in ipadpit having any actual effect in the game. Since I'm not seeing anyone else with this problem when I search, I figure I just must have missed a step somewhere, although I can't find it. The only strange thing I see is that sometime when I press a button in iPadpit all of the keystrokes don't seem to all come through in the controls options section when I am testing. a couple of presses usually does it though. I have a feeling that has something to do with it but other than that I'm stumped. Anyone have any ideas? Running Win8.1x64 and the steam version of A-10, although I would like to move to DCS world, but that's a post for another thread. Thanks in advance for anyone who might want to help out. Mitch
