  1. Might have been it... checking now. It was hidden waaaaaaaaayyyyyy off to the right.
  2. I'm flying along in the A-10C Landing training mission and it randomly decides to zoom out on me. At this point, even if I lean in with TrackIR, it does nothing for me. The HUD is still too small to read. I press the zoom center button and it goes back to normal for a few seconds. Then it goes back to zooming all the way out. Anyone know what's going on and how to fix it? This is game-breaking for me. I can't fly. Edit - Recorded a video
  3. SOLVED IT!!! Somehow after the new update, the throttle bound itself to the stick and the rudder bound itself to the throttle...
  4. Note - Not sure if this is limited to only the nav tutorial, I'll check and add an update later. But for now it's like this, I start the Navigation tutorial mission and everything's fine. But when I go to set the throttle to what the narrator tells me to, the plane starts tumbling out of control. If I twist the stick (rudder) it will stop the crazyness, but I'm no longer able to activate autopilot and some other goofy stuff happens (like trim not working). I have no idea what's going on. I just got my second monitor to work, and now I can't even do anything. Update - It's not just the Nav tutorial. It's any of them. The second I touch the throttle, it just tumbles out of control down and to the left.
  5. I could cry, I'm so happy... I owe you so much... You are a lifesaver.
  6. MINOR SUCCESS!!!! I managed to somehow get the right mfcd to display on the right monitor. Now if I could only get it to display BOTH instead of just one (and possibly CDU, as well), I'd be in business.
  7. As soon as I got to part 2, I was like - "..........What?" I have no idea what a .lua file is or how to create one... I saw the wall of letters and numbers and I was like. "...yeah, that's not happening" My main monitor is 1920x1200 and the second (right one) is 1600x1200, I don't know what to do beyond knowing those numbers.
  8. I've been at this for two hours now... I'm getting SERIOUSLY frustrated (and that's putting it extremely nicely...) and I can't get this to work no matter what I do. I managed to get ONE mfcd on the right screen but it overlapped with the main display. So that wasn't helpful... Why? Why can't I just put the mfcds on the right screen? Why is this so damn complicated? WHY!?!?!?! Why can't I just press one button that says "multi-monitor". It then detects all monitors attached, determines which one you set as your "default" or "main", and then gives you the option to put the mfcds on the other one or make the screen wider... Why is this more difficult than brain surgery?
  9. I just started playing a few days ago, since I got my HOTAS. I just got a second monitor today, and I would like to display my MFCDs on it (A-10C) so I don't need to zoom in and pan around the cockpit every five seconds (no trackIR). I have absolutely no clue what I'm doing and would welcome any help. I don't see an option in the options menu for a second screen. I don't see a way to have the MFCDs displayed anywhere else other than in-cockpit. (I selected the "MFCDs" option and "Camera+BlahBlah" and it just crammed a bunch of crap on the main monitor for some reason.) This is very counter-intuitive, and I'm getting EXTREMELY frustrated that no one seems to have a useful video, or tutorial, about how to do this. I tried using "uMFCD" and that just kept crashing the mission... Anyone know how to do this? ...Preferably in a step-by-step manner?
  10. I'm not sure what's going on. But it crashes every time I start a mission. I'm trying to use it on the navigation tutorial (as I just started playing DCS a few days ago) and everytime I go to launch the tutorial it just crashes the mission and brings me back to the "lesson select" screen. Do i NEED to have the cockpit displays deactivated? Or can I use the extra screen and still have them running in the cockpit, too? Because that's what I want/am trying to do. Edit - Yeah, it doesn't matter. Activated or not, nav tutorial or landing tutorial, it doesn't matter. It just crashes the mission. Can't use this at all...
  11. So I went into training and the cockpit/world noises were too loud... So I quit and went to the main menu to change the settings. Why I can't just change audio settings in-game, I'll never know... I lowered music down to about 10%, and everything else to about 50-70%. Hit okay and went back to the menu. Couldn't really tell the difference on the main menu, so I started another tutorial. Nothing happened, it's still pretty loud. Okay, kind of irked at this point... Quit AGAIN (once again, why do I need to go to the main menu to get this done???), lowered EVERYTHING except voice. The ambient noise is still loud as hell, and I can't play the tutorials because it's so annoying. I don't even care that the text is there at this point. It's so off-putting when you hear someone (basically) whispering over the loud ambient noise. ...And the engines weren't even started yet!!! Anyone know what's going on, and how to fix it? Or is it a legitimate bug the devs need to fix? Also, slightly un-related... Had a problem with the screen jittering and shaking. I figured out it was because Zoom View was bound in "axis commands". Deleted the binding, seems to be working okay now. But I won't know for sure until I can lower the volume...
