  1. Just got it with libcef.dll, Kaspersky just quarantined AND Deleted it from said quarantine without me having a word to say in the process... how do you do a repair of DCS? (on latest STABLE version)
  2. Late to the party, but here's my take after recent life-changing event ;-) Might help a few weirdos lefties out-there! Even though I'm sure I could re-train my brain to use a stick in the right-hand, but after 30+ years of simming with the stick in the left hand, it would be a big task in itself. Up until yesterday, I've been using an ambidextrous Cyborg-EVO and a pretty clever HOTAS keyboard binding method that enabled me to become deadly efficient in the A-10c. After trying it in a store a few times, I just got a T1600m + Throttle setup. I reverse it (and invert the settings for the main slider) so I use my right thumb for the 3 hats. I can reach all buttons and hats without any weird contortions with medium size hands. Obviously, you lose some ergonomy + the two-way swich and ''playstation-like'' stick are a bit awkward to use, but it is still the best setup I've tried for right-hand throttle ''off the box''. I highly recommend trying it for any left-hand stick flyers
  3. Wow! My world just changed! Been simming since MS FS2 on Commodor 64 and since 2011 on DCS (A-10c, F-15, SU-27 and two weeks ago the F/A-18 ) I've been using an old Cyborg EVO joystick with a huge deadzone problem and a small throttle lever that would go down with gravity if left unatended, making aerial refueling and landing on the Stennis almost impossible (yet, I managed to do it pretty well  ), even precise A/G gun run was a feat in itself! Just got my hand on a T1600m w/throttle! It's like a brand new game (about time, some of you might say!) For all the lefties who did not learn to fly with the stick in the right hand, I have to say that this kit is by far the best I've tried, the only one I've been able to use the trottle in the right hand and use all switches and buttons without insane hand contorsions. It is not as ergonomic as in the left hand, but still really worth it! For the few weirdos like me, my advise is get that HOTAS system!! I inverted the throttle (both physically and in settings) so that my right-hand thumb can use the 3 hats. I have normal size hands for those wondering. Also in the good news for me: My internet connection relies on a shitty off the grid satellite link, but in 2020, I'll have a high-end fiber optic connection! I'll be able to join you guys in MP for the first time! Can't wait! (had to share all this ;-) )
  4. Thanks! Did un-install/re-install my drivers using DDU and did a DCS Clean-up as suggested... No luck... still crashing every time... I do not understand, I was able to fly for hours without any problems, did not do any changes to my PC, OS, hardware/software, did not update DCS... same configuration I was able to fly with, not working at all anymore... what the ''bleep''... really frustrating... so... since my display drivers are up-to-date, not corrupted, DCS is clean and I've lowered my graphics as much as possible (and tried with my original graphics config.) what are my options now? retire from flying? Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated
  5. Lowered Textures, MSAA to x4 instead of x8 and preload to 96000 instead of 150000... could not even take-off this time... crashed during engine startup attached the crash logs... Logs2.zip

  7. Hello, Been an avid reader for quite a while, I've always been able to take care of myself and fixed my previous crashes issues until now, any help would be appreciated. Thank you so much! (sorry if it's an easy fix and I am just suddenly dum...thank you for pointing me i the right direction any how :smilewink: ) Problem: Crash to desktop few minutes into mission with F-15c every time, happens sometimes with A-10c Version of product: DCS World 1.5.6 + A-10c (w/ stone sheild and Operation Fury) + F-15c + Su-27 (W/ultimate argument) Hardware: I5-2400 @ 3.4ghz 8gb RAM Nvidia GeForce GTX660 @ 2gb RAM Win-7 SP1 @ 64-Bit Details: Problem signature: Problem Event Name: APPCRASH Application Name: DCS.exe Application Version: 1.5.6.1938 Application Timestamp: 589c88e4 Fault Module Name: d3d11.dll Fault Module Version: 6.2.9200.16570 Fault Module Timestamp: 5153b56b Exception Code: c0000005 Exception Offset: 00000000000f2d72 OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3 Locale ID: 1033 Additional Information 1: 2a55 Additional Information 2: 2a55bbac195949ab6848a9762ec931b6 Additional Information 3: 9848 Additional Information 4: 9848591328cf7dcbfd79a3101ab6bc2a
  8. Hey guys, Even though it is my first post, I've been here reading for quite a while! After ''mastering'' the A-10c, I recently bought the F-15c module (needed AA combat :smilewink: ) and at the same time, starting using the Mission editor (about time!). I started a project to adapt the SP A-10c campaing for the F-15c, adding some more AA action (enemy CAP, CAS and attack choppers) to it. Main mission objectives will stay the same, so the SP player flying the F-15c must protect the A-10c so it accomplishes its mission. My question: in the first mission, originally, after clearing some T-72s, the PLAYER A-10 must give the go ahead to RAZOR and ELM so they reach TEXAS point... I've manage to re-assign the CAS and SEAD, so that now, the PLAYER F-15c is to call them up (using radio menu f10) to the show, but no luck with RAZOR and ELM... How do I do this? did I miss something obvious in the mission editor? Thanks a lot! (By the way, I focus a lot on SP since my Internet connection is just too awefull to join you guys online... truly sad...) been flying virtual planes since FS2 on my Commodor 64, DCS is truly marvelous!!!
