  1. What type of things are you interested in learning? I think the most difficult aspect to learn is the unique handling. Going through the campaign and really nailing all the missions is a great start. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. Thanks guys. It took 2 weeks of takeoffs and landings every night! Finally taming the stang. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. Mixture knob is indeed in the wrong place. It'll be much easier if you set it to the middle. You have it on the full rich setting. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. P-51 Climb Procedure Also climb at best rate of climb, resist the temptation to zoom climb. Best rate is an airspeed that is most efficient. I forget what the airspeed Is in the P-51 but pitch for that airspeed and stay there. Best rate is often called VY and labeled in the cockpit on most civilian ac Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. Check you mixture setting. The little red toggle behind the throttle. There's 3 positions. When starting, you right click to get to the middle. The lower setting is for something else like emergencies I forget exactly. That's where you want to be otherwise it's a real dog up past 10k' it's tough to make it to the supercharger kick in altitude otherwise. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. FINALLY!!!!!! I am finally able to consistently wheel and 3-point land the Mustang. I've. Been struggling for weeks! Here's a link of a firm but acceptable landing. [ame] [/ame] I'm sure there's improvement to be made. Centerline pride is one big one but its soooo hard to see out of the plane even tail up. What works for me is: 1. be stabilized much further away/ longer than you think you need 2. Commit to a power setting you are going to land at at 50' even small power changes seem to have a big destabilizing effect in every axis 3. Work on sight picture and know when to "drop" the wheels on the ground 4. My approach is 150mph , over the threshold at 110-120 Hope this helps Critiques welcome Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
