  1. Well, when I set the first waypoint (I mean number 0), to 'TakeOff from parking hot', I have a box called 'PRK' and a list of positions, but I can choose only the hard coded parking slot positions on ramp. When I set it to 'TakeOff from the runway', the box with the list to choose the positions disappears. Well, we'll have to continue the search for new ways to do it. Thanks both of you for your help. I really appreciate it a lot.
  2. Hi NakedSquirrel and thanks for your help!!! When I choose 'TakeOff from the runway, the 'PRK label' and the box with option for the positions disapears. Do I explain myself? There are not parking spots when I choose to take off from the runway.
  3. Hello DarkFire!!! I'm really sorry mate, but there is a problem!!! When you said 'Place the first waypoint for your aircraft on the airfield', you mean waypoint 0 or 1? If I change the waypoint 0 to 'TakeOff from runway', DCS places the aircraft in the middle of the runway (in length), and I can not move it. If you are speaking about waypoint 1, I have only three choices: - Fly over - Turning point - Landing Maybe the names of the choices are not exactly those because I have the Spanish version and I'm translating them. Sorry!!! Do I explain myselft? There is not a 'TakeOff from runway' choice for the first waypoint. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or if I'm not understanding what do you want me to do. Can I ask you something? Would you mind to create a mission with just one airplane and send to me? I think this will be faster and easier!!! If you can do that for me, that would be awesome!!! Thanks one more time for all you help and for your patient!!!
  4. DarkFire, this is a terrific idea!!! I'm going to try it right now. I hope I understand everything you said. I'll let you know what happend. About the 'disadvantage', no problem at all for us. Thank you!!!
  5. Ok!!! That's a shame!!! Well, there is another way to get the same result for me, but I don't know how to do it. Is it posible to change the hard coded parking positions? I mean, can I move the parking positions to any other location on the airfield? If this could be possible, them I would move all the parking position to the runway thresthold and the result would be almost the same. See you and thanks indeed for your help!!!
  6. Thanks, DakFire, but I need the leader to stop on the runway for a while (to allow other traffic in the formation to enter into their position).
  7. Hello again!!! I try what you said, and it works beatifully. A 'runway inspection vehicule' enter in the runway and my AI traffic stop. Nice!!! Really nice!!! But now I have another problem. When the vehicule exit the runway my AI traffic remain stoped forever. I try everything, but it doesn't move. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!!!
  8. Excuse me guys!!! I haven't entered in this post for the last two months and I haven't read your answers. Thanks again to both of you!!! I'll create this ground unit. This could work!!! Great idea!!! Thanks a lot!!! 'See' you. Bye!!!
  9. Thanks, Feefifofum!!! I tried that and you are right. With the Reaction to threat deactivated, you can fly closer. But if you cut him off (if you pass in front of him), it still bounces and try to avoid the collision. Well, we'll have to wait for DCS 2. I hope in this version AI's behaviours will be smoother. Thanks for your help and take care!!! Bye!!!
  10. Hello again, and thanks for your quick answer!!! Well, I was afraid this could be the situation. Ok, it doesn't matter. We will look forward for the new versión of DCS. It will great if they improve AI's behaviour (turns are terrible; with a lot of bank angle and with out any progression and landings are completely crazy). I knew about this acrobatic server, but I never tried. I'll check it out. Thanks again for your help and see you in the virtual skies.
  11. Thanks both of you (DarkFire and Feefifofum)!!! Your answers are interesting and very useful!!! DarkFire, what you say is a very good aproach to flight in close proximity formations indeed. Thanks a lot!!! I agree with every word you said and, if you don't mind, I will send to my collegues this terrific paragraph. Well, I apologize if my English is not good enought to express myself clear enought. Ok. I will start from the beginnig. I use to fly with a group of people and we are interested in acrobatic fly in close proximity formations. You can think as an example in the Virtual Red Arrow, in the Virtual Blue Eagle or in the Patrulla Aguila Virtual (in fact I flown for a couple of years with this guys, the PAV, the Patrulla Aguila Virtual). In our training sometimes we flight with a human leader (I know this is the best practice), but sometimes we fly with a mision I created with an AI traffic as a leader (Feefifofum knows about that 'cause I asked a couple of questions relate to that). The problem is that we are not so good yet and sometimes one of us goes 'against' some other traffics. When I asked you about avoiding collisions, I mean avoiding collisions with an AI traffic. As you said, when an AI traffic realizes another traffic is going to crash with him, he bounces and exits its programming route for a while and then he returns to his defined route. When this happend, as you suposse, the formation became completely broken and we have to rejoin and begin again. So my question is: Is it possible to avoid this avoiding manouver from the AI traffic? With the FC2 you can configure the mission / simulator, so you can go throught an AI traffic and it didn't notice at all. You pass throught it as it were a ghost. Is it possible to have then same configuration in DCS to have the same reaction (I mean, no reaction at all)? Thanks again for your answers and for your patient.
  12. Hello everybody; I know that will be an easy question for you, guys, but I couldn't find the answer anywhere. Does anybody know if there is a way to configure a mission to avoid collisions (I mean collision with another plane in flight)? We are flying in closed formation and it will be useful for us. I know this is cheating, :music_whistling::music_whistling:, but we will use this just for a while. I promise!!! Thanks in advance and see you. Bye!!! Ps.: I already try the 'Inmortal' configuration in the simulator, in the mission parameters and in the trigger action configuration folder of each plane. But it doesn't work. I tried also the 'Invisible' thing, but the results are the same. Thanks!!!
  13. Thanks, Feefifofum!!! You are always ready to help!!! About the first question, it's a shame this doesn't work with airplanes. I would like to create an airplane and stop it in the runway before it takes off (until all the other units are in position in the zone, are in position). About the second one, I will go throught with the SET WAYPOINT function. I'm afraid at the end I'll have to enter in the lua programmation world. Thanks for your help and 'see you' in the virtual air.
  14. Hello everyone!!! I have a couple of questions about the AI traffics and AI maneuvers. I'm trying to make a mission with an AI Group / an AI Unit (I created the traffic, I select the skill level to Average, I actívate de late startup...). But when I try to create a trigger with a 'Group AI On', 'Group AI Off', 'Unit AI On', or 'Unit AI Off' action, I have nothing in the box below (it's empty). Any help, please!!! Apart from that, the AI traffic works fine in every sense (it follows the waypoints route and everything else), but I have nothing in the unfolding box. My second question is about the circle and hippodrome orbit maneuvers. Is it posible to make a right hand hippodrome? The left hand maneuver works perfect, but I couldn't find a way to make the airplane do the same to the right. Thanks in advance and have nices virtual flights!!!
  15. Ok, I will try the LUA script possibility!!! Thanks again for your help!!!
  16. Thanks for your answer, Feefifofum!!! Yes, I already try that, and it's true than the IA traffic deploys (and retracts), the airbreak when you reduce the speed in a waypoint, but there is no way to foresee when the IA is going to do it. If you have any other idea, please let me know!!! Thanks again!!!
  17. Hello everybody, First of all, I apologized for my spelling. :music_whistling::music_whistling::music_whistling: I would like to know if it's possible to change the value of some parameters in an AI traffic during a flight, with triggers in a misión. I would like to turn airspeed on or off when the traffic is flight over a zone of when it's approaching the airport. The same thing with the flaps or with the landing gear. Can anyone give me any help about that? Thanks in advance!!! Take care an have good and safe flights. Bye!!!
