  1. yea, get the same thing though, goes to the multiplayer screen with the IP for the game already put in but won't do anything, I tried with every server that was on at teh time, still no luck
  2. Hi guys, I'm in major need of a computer/internet expert: Here's the problem: I'm wanting to connect to a multiplayer server, I type in the IP address (I've tried multiple servers and get the same problem), the default port of 10308 and connection speed of 128/128. Now, I click Start and -the first time I do this- it changes to a "Cancel" button, presumably while it tries to connect but then changes back to a "Start" button. Every time after that, it'll only change to a "Cancel" button for a split second before changing back...almost like it isn't even trying. I've exhausted an entire afternoon trying to get this to work, I've tried at least 10 different servers that other people seem to have no problem on, it just will not connect to anything. I've disabled the windows firewall (which is the only firewall I have running) but to no avail. I've reinstalled Lock on from completly clean 1.00 version in the install order of: V1.00 - LOMAC V1.1b - Flaming Cliffs (Download Version) Season Upgrade Movie Upgrade I play other games online without trouble, including: FSX Delta Force: Joint Ops Conflift Vietnam CFS3 At this point, I'm just going to have to give up. I've tried everything and it just won't do it! Can anyone suggest anything that I haven't already tried? Some info that may help: Broadband Connected via Hardwired Ethernet Router Firewalls Disabled Internet Connection refreshed Renewed IP Address Running on a P4 3.0Ghz machine If anyone would like to arrange to assist me via remote, I have and am able to use the Windows "Remote Assistance" tool, for those who want to take a look for themselves. Cheers in advance for any suggestions
