I just reinstalled lock on and my x52 and I can not get any of my buttons or throttle to work right. Every thing worked fine before. What can I do?

Just reloaded Lock-on and installed the latest patch. When I select my X52 in options I can not change any keys with my joystick and after pressing okay the option reverts back to the keyboard setting. Any ideas please respond.
