  1. I want to mention that this happens ON the runway and after I've touched down and applied a pretty good amount of brake... Could it still be the low speed??? Edit: After I put my front wheel down as well... Edit 2: Did it again and it happened at 45 knots after I used the brakes; when I released the brakes to roll some more on the runway the nose just started going "up, up and away".
  2. Hello! I got the A-10A after playing the SU-25t for for about 20-30 hours and everything goes smoothly except for the landing. For some reason my plane (well after I've slowed down) pitches backwards and decides to have a little sit down... ...on it's tail. Anyone got any advice on what I may be doing wrong? I don't think the trim has anything to do with this as my speed is quite low when this happens...
  3. Thanks for the encouragement. I just went the 9-year-old-kid way and asked my parents for some "funds" (as a 19 year old). We all looked at each other and started laughing. Yeah, I'm going to start saving up... Sometimes I wish I wasn't at an engineering university. I could just get a job if not for the hell-ish schedule. Anyway, thanks again for the response!
  4. Yeah, I Just set up FacetrackNoIR. I use it with the face recognition for now. It works great and with some minor tweaking I managed to get rid of some of the twitching it had while looking straight. I plan on buying some cheap LEDs , wiring them up and sticking them to my headset. Will see how that goes. My monitor is 1680x1050, and I "game" at a desk so I'm fairly close to the screen. Thank for the advice...
  5. Yeah, that's exactly what I plan on doing. Atleast until I manage to upgrade my PC...
  6. Cykyrios <- Thanks man, you couldn't have explained it better. I kinda got the feeling that 2.0 would be a huge update, but I didn't know much of the details. Thanks so much for clarifying! Deathbane <- Yeah, I think I'm going to stick with the Su-25T for now and I'm going to try and upgrade my comp as soon as possible. Also, I'm going to re-install the sim from the main site just to be sure that my future-bought modules will work no matter what and that Steam will not "F" around with my "performance". Thanks to you as well for the quick reply!
  7. Ok, so I'm going to start by saying: HELLO!!! This is my first post on this forum. I've decided to create this in an attempt to understand the confusing "ways of the DCS". Before I start talking, I'm going to ask you to try and have a little patience with me as I am a huge noob. My story with discovering DCS goes a little like this: I have been unable to play anything but this, since I found it. I'm slowly learning everything about flying this plane. I've made my own little (broken) setup for it: Also my "gaming rig" is (yes, it still works after 7-8 years): I play on LOW-ish settings and get about 30-ish FPS with no noticeable LAG (as long as I don't flip open the mirrors inside the cockpit). So my questions are: 1. What is with all the DCS, DCS 1.5 and DCS 2.0? I've looked everywhere for information and the ton I found just buried me under more and more questions (nothing on Steam, little on the main site, little here and tons on Reddit). I wanted to buy a new module, but I thought: Should I wait? Will I even be able to run 2.0? Is it ok to buy 1 or 2 modules or will they become obsolete once 2.0 comes out. Is 2.0 separate or just a huge update? 2. If I buy a new module, should I do it via the main site or Steam? 3. Is there a difference between Steam version and "Site version" ? 4. What advice can you spare for a noob like me? (I'm a student, so big bucks are out of the picture for me ; I'm looking for cheap solutions or just plain advice from the veterans out there) 5. I'm thinking of building my own head tracking hardware with a webcam and some LEDs. Is it possible? I found some information on that, but I could really use some advice on this from someone who tried it. Should I even try this in the first place or is it just not working/possible? Anyway, thanks for the time you took to read "my memoirs" up there! And thanks Eagle Dynamics for the awesome time I'm having right now!!! P.S. Sorry if I posted this in the wrong place.
