Hey guys,
I want to first begin with how wonderful it is to see so many people now involved with flight simulators. For a long time I thought that the FPS world was a dominating genre in the realm of computer gaming, but it is nice to see that I was wrong:). Anyways, it has been quite some time since I have flown any aircraft in any simulator (last time being while I was stationed in South Korea 9 years ago) and I am wondering what y'all's thoughts where on this simulator? Is it decent? How realistic?
Most important is the system I am building to finally be able to get back into flight simulators. I was hoping to get some opinions on whether or not my system is not just comparable to y'all's but is it going to be enough to operate this flight sim at its true potential. Here is a list of my hardware specs that I am planning on ordering (minus the case because it really isn't that important to the hardware specs, there is a good amount of airflow though):
GRAPHICS CARD
I currently have one EVGA GeForce GTX TITAN X SC with a core clock of 1127 MHz
(Boosted to 1216 MHz), 3072 CUDA cores, and 12 GB 384 bit GDDR5.
I have an Intel i7 5930K Haswell-E 6-core processor at 3.5 GHz (turbo'd to something like 4.0 but I don't know yet because I haven't put it on the board yet).
I have 64 GB Quad Channel 288-pin DDR4 memory clocked at 2800.
I have an EVGA 1300W Full Modular PSU.
I have an ASRock Gaming X99X board.
This is all for right now. I Just wanted to get your guys' thoughts on those parts. What do y'all think? Do I have enough to play this sim at full spec?
Thank you guys for your time. It means a lot to get an idea if my system is worthy for this flight simulator.
