He is right. I can never catch the other plane too. And flight plan also seems to have changed after WP13 too, not the same as the documents. I wonder what more surprises await me in the upcoming missions. (this is my second run playing this campaign)

What do you mean by "installed all of the modules" please? You did not downloaded them from scratch, did you?

Now I have trouble. Because I had not deactivated anything. All I have now are: a fresh windows, a fresh DCS 2.0 and 48.7GB of my previous DCS backup (mirror of the folders). Deleting registry keys does not work, as there is not any key to delete. My module roots are similar to yours Gazmonalpha: steam + DCS. And I can see them all ready to download in my DCS 2.0. Is there anyway or does my 48.7GB worth no more?

Deactivate, but how? :) Anyway, here's what I have done: (I write here in detail so everyone can see what they'll face) 1. Copied complete DCS folder and Saved games folder on an external. 2. Installed a fresh W8.1. 3. Downloaded and installed core DCS 2.0 4. Copied back DCS folder and saved games folder to where they needed to be. 5. Launched DCS. It logged in auto (that must be for I copied saved games folder) 6. DCS told me that I had no terrains (here's where I got furious). 7. Then DCS asked me to install every module I had. I chose none but one (A-10C). 8. DCS quit, updater started and asked me what to do with unfinished dl files it found. 9. I told to keep them and then it started to download it all over again. Please let me know where I have done wrong, and I will see if I can correct it, since everything's fresh here. Many thanks! Edit: I also ran cmd dcs_updater repair. No change.

I moved everything on an external drive. But will it be alright just to move them back in place after Windows reinstall and start DCS updater? It will not be any good if DCS will ask to download them all over again, instead of restoring my backed-up folder. Thanks a lot for the reply!

Could you please explain this a bit further? I am planning to do the same and do not have any idea. Running DCS2.0, by the way. I need a fresh Windows 8.

Dear Friends, I am having issues with my PC and I need to re-install Windows 8. My internet connection does not let me to download 60GBs of modules, as it has a traffic limit and I am over it already this month because I downloaded Nevada. How can I back-up and restore all of my modules, please? Anyone knows any working plan? BTW, I have already checked http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=160581. Could not decide if @jcomm meant there that he had to download all over again everything by saying this: "installed all of the modules"
