I think people here are to harsh to the OP. I mean he is completely right, those thing he described should not happen. I guess the reason is, the game evolves constantly and old modules to need to be updated to be on track. I was lucky to have purchased it after release (when it was stand-alone) and the tutorial worked just fine back then.

I wish there was an option to have some buttons in their incorrect positions when you get a cold start aircraft for an aircraft startup preparation checklist to make sense (personally having A-10c in mind). This is really important! Can anybody tell me if it makes sense to check if all buttons are in their correct positions before engine start checklist when they are at 100% certainty? People make mistakes, but computers don't. You get a working and properly set up plane each and every time. This would also be trivial to implement IMO, but has a big impact for those who wish to do an aircraft cold start in a proper way. Cheers!
