Hey guys,
I made my account just to ask this question.
Picture this: In a heated dogfight with a P-51 ducking and diving everywhere, hes on your tail and you need the advantage, MW-50 goes on and you pull away, back around and the tables have turned. Your on his tail now and he decides to go into a straight vertical climb to try and get you to stall first, you don't. Pulling up on him with MW-50 on you get those critical shots into him, destroying him. But it's too late, you stall as you finish your salvo and start rolling and spinning uncontrollably. Dropping throttle to idle and putting the first stage of flaps out gets you back under control and into a dive that you proceed to pull out of, easy done.
But here's the question: Right after I pull out of the dive, my engine splutters and eventually dies totally (or it just totally stops instantly), no RPM on the gauge and then it just abruptly stops. Why does that happen?? Is it shock heating/cooling? Fuel stops flowing right? I am totally stumped, if you guys know whats up and have the solution I'd love to hear. Also if there's a way to restart your engine once it happens. I try turning it all off and going through the standard start-up procedure (if i have time) but its to no avail.
I will try to get you any details you need.
Thanks heaps!! :helpsmilie::helpsmilie:
