I've always wished that explosions were more realistic especially for ground targets. I wish if the target stays on fire for longer time with a better fire and smoke textures considering this is a simulation game.

I finally fixed it guys !! most computers that have the Intel GPU will have an additional GPU (AMD R7) in my case to assist in 3D applications such as DCS. If you have the AMD GPU, all you need to do is right click on the desktop and go to the AMD Radeon Settings>>Preference>> Radeon Additional Settings>>Switchable Graphics Application Settings (Located in the left pane). Then, run the game and when the main menu pops up, go back to the AMD Settings window. You should see 2 applications appear (consent.exe) and (dcs.exe). From the drop down menu right next to the application name, select(High Performance) and click Apply. and finally, enjoy playing DCS again.:thumbup:

Same Issue I'm having the same issue. I've been going back and forth with this for over 6 months and still don't know why. It seems to be the GPU that's causing the crash, because i'm using the same Intel GPU as yours. with an intel i7 processor and 12 GB of Ram. What's really weird is that the game used to run perfectly fine before and sadly, now it's nearly Unplayable. Keep us updated if you manage to get it fixed.

Tried deleting ""oprions.lua". It crashed again when I fired an unguided rocket. I attached the Logs file to this reply. I guess I will have to re-install the game. By the way, do I lose my progress if I do so ?

I tried repairing the installation. It didn't work. The only mod i'm running is a skin mod for the SU 25 and the SU 27. This may sound stupid, but how do I get the log file. When the game crashes, I click Debug and nothing happens. Thank you all for your responses

Hello Everyone, I posted earlier about the game crashing when firing rockets. When the recent update came out, I was hoping that it was going to fix the game but in fact, it made the game run even worse. Now the game crashes when I fire any type of weapons ( gun pods, rockets, laser guided missiles) and with all aircrafts. I was looking in the forum trying to see if anyone else is having the same issue, but, it turns out that no one does, so my conclusion is that the issue is on my end. I tried to update the graphics card driver and rebooting the computer but none of that seems to fix it. the game is almost unplayable now. Any Ideas or suggestions on how to fix it would be grately appreciated. Thanks.... :helpsmilie:

Hello Everyone, I just recently installed the new 1.54 update and up to that point, everything was working fine, but after installing the update the game crashes everytime I fire an unguided rocket. I tried to reboot the computer but nothing happens. The game is no longer playable. If anyone knows how to fix this bug, please let me know. Zach.. :helpsmilie::helpsmilie::helpsmilie:

Hello everyone, Ever since I installed DCS 1.5, I haven't been able to launch the multiplayer. If I launch it from the multiplayer shortcut, it will give me a black screen and I can only hear the music playing. If I run it from the main menu, the game will crash as soon as I join a server. Did anybody encounter similar issues? Note: Re-installing the game didn't fix the problem.
