Hi all, the hog is the one airframe that's giving me life in this sim right now. Every squadron I see for miles either doesn't include the hog, or it's one of a billion other aircraft they support. I want a HOG group, that flies nothing but the hog and cranks metaphorical hog 24/7. Not looking for extreme milsim either, just a respectful group of people that know the aircraft and want to fly ops. Please reply below or send a message! Cheers

In this most recent update of DCS, F1 view is perfectly fine. I get my normal 60+ frames. However, in F2 (external) view, All of my surroundings get covered with a thick sort of haze, and I'm losing sh*t-tons of frames. I've searched around and nobody else seems to be having this issue. I've already tried turning down all of my settings to no avail. Any ideas, or is this just part of the new lighting engine I'm gonna need to deal with? I was flying the M2K in Nevada today after a hiatus from it, and upon trying both the OBL and Flyover methods, I could not get the INS waypoint position to update. I understand the OBL method has been broken for a bit, but I though overflying always worked:(. Anyone else?

I've recently been having issues with contacting JTAC in the Mirage... sometimes. I recently had someone look at my JTAC mission and he got it working with the A-10C and an air start Mirage. However, JTAC won't respond to a cold start Mirage in the same mission. I'm not using easy comms or radio assists. The strange thing is... the tanker I have set up DOES respond to the cold start... ung. I've triple checked the modes and the freqs(M for Tx and Pel+G for Rx) and I just don't know what to think anymore. Am I missing a step somewhere else in startup...? Or is this broken? It's probably the first, but does anyone have any idea what it could be? Thanks ahead of time.

I know this is a question many have asked before... but JTAC won't respond to radio calls. I put a blue HMMWV TOW near a red transport truck and followed all of the instructions from tutorials on how to set up JTAC. I spawned in my Mirage, tuned JTAC with easy comms, contacted them... and no response. There's gotta be a fix for this... .miz attached. Maybe I'm not doing this right, but... when I connect the probe to the basket for refueling, it continuously flickers between "Contact" and "Return pre contact", as well as the IL-78 lights flickering pretty hardcore. I also tried with the s3 refueler to no avail. Is AAR broken right now, or is my Mirage broken? Im running the latest DCS 1.5 and Mirage. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-J320A using Tapatalk

Hey guys, I just got the mirage yesterday and I can't seem to be able to fire the rockets. I do the following: 1. Master arm to ARME 2. Select RK3 on the PCA 3. Radar to EM 4. Apparently a panel is supposed to show up above the gunsight when I load gunpods on the inner pylons.. however, I never see this when I put them on. Should I wait until they finish rearming before I start engines, then maybe it'll show up? Or could it be something else? Hmm... :helpsmilie:

EDIT: Found the switch I was missing! Just a quick question: I just got the MiG-21 yesterday and I'm letting the Radar warm up after I start up for at least 5 mins, but it will not turn on; no symbology at all appears. I'm probably missing a switch, but I'm not sure which one. Does anyone else have an idea of what might be happening? Thanks! Running DCS 1.5.5

Will there be a winter sale in the DCS E-store or on DCS Products in Steam anytime? I'd like to pick up a couple planes but my budget's a little tight and they haven't announced anything about a winter sale at all.

It's sometimes fun to brag to people how much time I have in flight sim, but I'd like to be able to do it with standalone DCS. I've no knowledge of an hour counter within DCS Standalone... does anyone know if there is?

I'm trying to make a mission where APCs cross the border into Georgia at the bridge crossing the border river. However, when they approach the bridge, they turn westbound, drive along the riverbank, turn back eastbound, drive back under the bridge, then get back on the road and decide to cross the bridge, which largely confuses me... if they're able to cross the bridge in the first place, what's keeping them from doing so at the beginning?:huh:

Bump. It's nice to see I'm not alone, but I'd also maybe like some input for a possible solution.

I've been having this problem since I got DCS... I'm simply unable to join large servers because it'll sit on the loading screen for a while, then boot me back to the MP menu with the message "Connection timed out". I can join less taxing servers like Aerobatics Online, but even those will still boot me at least once. Specs are as follows: DCS 1.5.5 Intel Core i5 @ 3.1GHz 8GB DDR3 RAM GTX750TI SC When I'm actually in the game, everything runs very smoothly, it's just the whole "joining" part that kills it. I suspect something like low memory... but I'm not sure. Any ideas as to what may be occurring? I really want to fly Blue Flag :helpsmilie:
