Fixing Stutter
I'm running a i5 4690K with a GTX970, and I almost gave up on my Vive due to stutter and sweet spot size.
However, I was able to resolve my stutter issues in most situations by disabling all background tasks/processes and closing all non-DCS windows. I also have to run the game on the lowest graphics settings.
For the sweet spot size, I replaced the foam face padding with a piece of felt. This made much more of the screen in focus and also increased field of view. It sounds like this doesn't work for everyone due to variations in facial structure, but I'd recommend you give it a try if you're having issues.
After these changes, the Vive has been great for me.
