Hi, hope this is the right forum.
I'm currently planning an installation with one or two short throw projectors, preferably with a spherical dome. I would really appreciate any advice on recommended warping software. Is there any alternatives under 300$ that work well with DCS?
I'm also considering the possibility of writing something on my own since I won't need very complex warping. Maybe to grab the DCS output as it is on one screen and let another application draw it warped on another screen/projector - maybe possible with Direct3d hooks? - or if possible, make a "video writer plugin" that can share the most recent frame to my other application (is data forwarded all the time to video writers in real time?).
