  1. Ah right, thanks for the reply. I was only flying one, so I guess this still applies. Just to clarify, there would be no way to get one to function correctly on it's own?
  2. Did a full reinstall of DCS last night to make sure that the problem wasn't occurring at my end and its still doing this. This problem still appears to be occurring, even with the manual mode enabled. Any help would be much appreciated Dan
  3. Thanks for the reply, We've set it to manual previously and whilst this does improve the problem, it still occurs, but less frequently. Thanks
  4. Hello All, I have been using the F-86 for formation flying with a friend for some time but there is something I have never been able to solve. I can get the HVAR smoke pods to work on the wings, but it seems that it isn't possible to either turn these off/on using a single button press. It sometimes takes 1, 2, 3 or even 4 presses to turn the smoke on or off, which can be an issue when flying a display and trying to turn the smoke on and off at the same time as the other aircraft. I know this issue doesn't relate to the buttons on my joystick as I can hear the keypress sound of the weapon release button in the cockpit. People I fly with also have the same issue and, as previously mentioned, we have spent some time trying to fix this ourselves before posting here. Hope somebody can help me with this Many thanks in advance :) Dan
  5. Hi All, I have been wondering if it was possible to use this model in a slightly older version of DCS (v. 1.5.3.53279.80) This is due to the fact that this is the last update that allows for smooth formation flying due to the recent bugs that result in "rubber banding" whilst flying. The F-5 just doesn't appear in the module list in the older version and I was wondering if there was any way around this so that I can use this for my formation team. Many thanks in advance :) Dan
  6. It's worked! Thank you so much!
  7. Thanks ever so much for your help. I have attached the description.lua along with a screenshot of the livery folder. Thanks again description.lua
  8. Yeah, I've done this and put it in the folder and checked all the naming in the description.lua and it's all correct. The other textures appear to be working, just not the helmet for some reason :S
  9. Hi All, I have been trying to repaint the helmet for this aircraft but it is not showing up in sim. All other texture files appear to be showing (wing, rudder, patches etc) Any ideas as to what the issue is here. I have double checked all file names and description.lua entries. Many Thanks Dan :)
