Previously it was fine and George was able to lock on any air targets if in the enough range but with the latest patch he is not doing it anymore.

That models has present on DCS from Ka-50/A-10C. Only has been a texture update, no a new 3D model or funtionality, the same situation, has been with hundred of other 3D models with ED "update" on any new patch. Only a little quantity has "new".
Oh, I didn't know they were there for such a long time. Thanks for clarification.

For instance in right MFD content A120B seems like A120E because B letter doesn't fit display width.

Pressing Uncage © button doesn't actually uncage Aim-9 seeker.
From Doc:
5. Depress Uncage switch to command missile self-trackWhen the AIM-9 seeker detects a target, it can be uncaged by pressing the Cage/Uncage button on the throttle to allow the seeker lock on and follow the target within the confines of the missile seeker’s field of view.
The Missile Diamond latches to the target when locked.
