I do not mean to thread necro but I have a question as it relates to configuring X52. Where to start the process? What is the first step? I see talk of profiles and configuring software/files but cannot seem to find an actual walkthrough of Step 1 to? Thank you.

Your guides are freaking awesome! Seriously, the detail, and all the information included. Thank you for your work. I've been practicing start-up in the 14, have most of the initial Pilot steps down. I learn by muscle memory vs just reading, so this is the guide that I was exactly looking for. Your time and efforts are very much appreciated.

Hello, I know there are plenty of video guides. Does anyone know of a PDF/Document/list that someone created for DCS F-14 with the steps to startup? I understand people put a lot of work into their videos, I hope I'm not alone in just wanting a word document, or a notepad file or similar with just: Step 1: Step 2: Step 3: Thank you.

I don't mean to necro thread, though I'm not clear on how to assign the modifier button within the game while configuring the controls. I have everything but the mod options set. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks. Nevermind, figured it out.

Okay, so , yes, I am looking through the forums and trying to find a "fix" as the throttle slider is not registering in DCS though the R1 seems to "default" throttle. What I've found/done thus far. Cleared the profile settings in the game config, manually set to correct joy stick, throttle and pedals axis. Searching for previous user profiles, trying to create my own and assign as shown by others, yet the persistent issue is the game doesn't register the axis correctly in the control. I'm lacking the terms/understanding to better explain this, and just not sure how to further trouble shoot. Is it possible to configure independent axis for right and left engine in game to the G940 throttle? Am I missing a setting/config, does the config file for the control(s) need to be manually edited? I am pretty sure this is something stupid/simple that I'm over looking. Thanks ahead of time.
