    I don't care for version 2.8 stable the colors are all wrong the planes don't spawn properly how can I revert back to 2.7 and make it stay there until 2.9 comes out?

      It's possible via command line:
      dcs_updater update 2.7.xxxxxx - you need to substitute the desired revision
