Company called Flitesim is joining the FFB free for all.
rapid replied to rapid's topic in Input Devices
They produced a Yoke with Force feed back which is available now and displayed this during the Flight Expo in Vagas , yes the image is rendered but they did announce it so I guess we just wait and see..... -
We have been waiting for an affordably priced FFB Stick then we get 3 at once. The next player on the filed is a company called Flitesim. Not penciled for the 4 quarter. Prototype looks huge like the Taurus 2 null

Yes correct the mounts are not included as far as I can see and neither are they on their web site as an accessory . Maybe to follow....?
-
Could be that Moza is new to the Flight Sim Genre and did not fully understand how their FFB needs to be implemented. Remember they couldn't even supply me with the dimension and size of the unit. Hope I am not screwed as I have one on order.

Here is the way Spudknocker has mounted his Moza FFB. He is a cool guy I just think he has jumped the gun a bit in his quick early review. null

Got me nervous now about my order now! If he finds this awkward wait till he see's the Taurus it's massive. This what I was thinking. I know he wants to do a full review but at least throw us a bone or something positive that he found. Just saying he is sponsored by Thrustmaster so maybe they got something coming out soon? . THIS! made me laugh.

Looks like Spudknocker aint happy with the Moza FFB Base! Spudknocker1 day ago Preliminary Moza FFB Base Review! Hey Guys! I know a lot of you guys out there have heard that I have gotten ahold of a Moza FFB to review, and I wanted to give you guys a preliminary review to help you decide if you’d like to preorder the base or not while I work on a full video. Bottom Line: DO NOT PREORDER I have run into a number of blocking issues with the Moza Base at this point and I am still working with the company to resolve these issues. - Mounting Solutions: As you can see in these photos the current desk mounting solution for the Moza Base is Wholly Inadequate and does not bring the base down low enough for comfortable usage. - The stick being mounted so high up means you cannot rest your forearm on your thigh as you fly limiting fine control inputs, and causing arm fatigue/elbow pain while flying. This is important in any stick but it’s particularly significant with FFB. - Mount does not allow full stick travel: the mount in its current form does not allow full stick forward travel, the stick will run into the mount before hitting its full length of travel. And while it’s absolutely GRINDS MY GEARS to see DCS players push enough negative G’s to pop Sean Tucker’s eyeballs out, this is definitely an issue. -The base as it’s currently mounted is FAR too wide and pushes my knees/thighs too far apart to easily manipulate my rudder pedals. - Base Does not allow for a slight 5ish Degree twist to the stick, this creates an extremely weird feeling while flying having your wrist cocked the right just to reach stick buttons, and is wholly unrealistic. While this post may seem overly negative I am still extremely excited at the prospect of Force Feedback sticks returning to the market after the downfall of the patent trolls. I am still working with Moza to fix the mounting issues, and am definitely open to revising my stance on the base in the future! Thanks for your support guys!

Sounds logical.

Correct sir, that is very strange indeed.

Hi All, Here is my reply from Moza: We apologize for the inconvenience. At the moment, we're unable to provide the dimensions and specifics you've requested. Rest assured, we're actively working on this and will reach out to you as soon as we have more information.

Hi yogi149, Nice work hope it's correct. Rapid

Top man Aapje.

Apologies I got those dimensions from Moza. I asked them to re check and they sent me the below image which is not very helpful or what I requested. It would seem that not everyone has the correct information yet. Details have not yet filtered down to everyone.

Dimensions. 320mm x 182mm x 52mm. Housing Material. Aerospace-grade aluminum ... US$549.00

Check this video out of the Moza FFB. It looks like the motors are very strong as the base is shaking like nuts - Plane in a dive I guess and stalled. Also it may be the camara angle but the base looks huge! Time Stamp 8.33 https://youtu.be/jQsh_hmvHgo?si=heGS4VOSJT_CQvo8

Sweet will give it a try.

I'm a Ground Pounder no G's of any value out of an A-10c and the rest are BlackShark, Kiowa, Apache and soon to come Chinook. will keep an eye out for heat. Will look out for >>>stiffening up as speed increases, buffeting near the stall, etc

I think its 4 to 6 weeks order. I'll keep the time line and see what Virpil brings and just sell it if needs be as I already mugged myself with getting the Thrustmaster AVA!!! Grrrrrr
