Thanks for everyone's help. I managed to get it running fairly well by following the advice here and on reddit. Updating DirectX and runnning the Update repair tool seemed to fix it for the most part. Thank you!

Windows is fully up to date, as are my nvidia drivers. Steam VR up to date as well. I'll check on the bios drivers and then maybe I'll install the stable version or do a fresh install of beta. Hopefully something will give. Thanks for the input though.

No, it's always been this way and it occurred to me that I didn't see anyone else having this problem. Pancake mode is super fast, but if I exit out and try to fly the same mission or scenario again in VR, the wait begins. 500gb ssd, win10, beta version of dcs, 6700k, gtx 1080.

I'm using Steam VR. Vive and Odyssey. Load screen seems to freeze a lot and say "Wait for pooled tasks - 2"

I'm having insanely long load times (10+ minutes) when using VR, but if I play pancake mode, I'm up and running in under 3 minutes. Anyone else have this problem or ideas on why this happens?

I have a Microsoft force feedback 2 joystick that I am using with DCS but I am a bit confused when it comes to tuning it correctly. I found a few threads which are several years old now so I'm not sure the information is still accurate. Is there a comprehensive list on what axes need to be reversed for which modules? Has there been more consistency across modules? I'm not even really sure what it means to reverse the FFB axes. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

I tried to buy the Sound Module on Andre's shop, but when I go to pay it says there is an error in Paypal. "You don't have permission to make this API call." Is this a glitch? Can I pay another way?
