  1. Thanks for the reply Bignewy
  2. Are you a representative of DCS? If you are a representative of DCS then so be it. I asked because even though it may work differently where you are, around here most major retailers will honor the sale price if the item was bought within 30 days of the sale. You may notice that I didn't ask for a refund. I asked for a credit so I might be encouraged to participate in the current sale. :) If you are not a representative of DCS, then thank you for your kind words and for spamming my post with a non answer that means nothing to me but says something about you. Kind Regards
  3. Hello I just bought the FA18 module back on 9-25 for full price. Now it's on sale just 3 weeks later. Any chance I can get a credit for the sale price difference? Thanks
  4. Clearing modes 2 & 3 Hi I realize that this thread has long ago gone cold and the folks involved may not even be alive let alone still playing this game or using this stick, but... I can't figure out how to delete modes 2 & 3. For A10 I started out by just clearing the profile in tray icon and then mapping everything to the HOTAS in the game thru options/controls but I can't get the mouse sticks to work in the game so I've created a stripped down profile for A10 with everything set to either unprogrammed or disabled except for the mouse sticks which are set to mouse x&y. To further clean up the profile I want to delete the profiles for modes 2 & 3. Anyone have an idea how to do that. I remember doing it in the older versions of the software but can't seem to find a way to get it done in this latest version. Oh and my stick is the X56 in case that matters. Thanks DH
  5. Well that worked for rolling DCSW back but once I was back to 1.5.6 I discovered that it really wasn't the problem. I was trying to install an older version of the upgrade manually from a link when I should have been using the mod manager. Once I went through the proper steps in the mod manager it went off smoothly without a hitch. Thanks for the help. Sorry to have wasted your time with my failure to read and follow the directons.
  6. Thanks I'll give that a try when I get home on Thur.
  7. No. When I fired up 1.5.6 for the first time it said "there is an update available do you want to install it?". I hit yes and it installed 1.5.7. I wasn't aware of the conflict or I would have waited. I was hoping to not have to reinstall the whole thing all over again is there a way to roll DCSW back to 1.5.6 or do I have to wipe it all and start over again?
  8. I installed DCS world and upgraded to the latest ver 1.5.7. I then installed my CD version of Black Shark 1 and tried to run the BS2 upgrade patch and I get a fail msg saying that this version 1.5.6 upgrade cannot be installed in DCS world 1.5.7 and that I should download the most recent version and try again. I was using the most recent version that I just downloaded from the ED web site. Any Ideas? I've seen a number of people here state that they just went ahead and bought the full BS2. But between purchasing BS1 and then the BS2 upgrade I've got over $60 in this game and don't want to push it to 100 by having to buy BS2 again. Thanks
