I use Windows XP. I have not updated starforce drivers. I'm pretty sure I tried to contact them when I initially experienced the problem, but I do not remember getting a reply. They may have been swomped back then.

Hello, I'm new to these forums, but I've owned a copy of Lock On Gold for nearly two years now. I cannot install flaming cliffs completely because Starforce won't let me play. What can I do to fix this problem? I see this is a common problem; sorry i missed the other huge thread. However, to add to the info...I was able to make it work years ago when I first installed. Ever since, until just now, in fact; starforce stopped me. Strangely, right now, I can play. Thanks, TopSpin
