This sounds like an old friend @六Air combat simulation should be the most vital E-sports. Why? Because other E-sports events are either completely elevated themes, such as lol, or there are real competitions in reality, such as F1, only air combat, which is the most confrontational and complex event for human beings to control machinery, and an event that has happened in the real world but cannot be reproduced. Many human activities on the battlefield have become sports competitions, such as javelin and fencing. Because of its danger and complexity, air combat can never be a competition in the real world. Therefore, only the virtual world is the only place where air combat can be carried out
I believe that in 100 years, air combat simulation will be the most successful sports, like today's football and basketball, but we need to work hard from now on.

Too bad we couldn't see each other moving out of our cockpit and sneak into each other's

You could even try teleport underneath the fuselage and now the pilot has a RIO/ground observer

Hey guys, just out of curiosity, what's the average FPS you get in Growling sidewinder server, when flying exclusively the Tomcat and what are the Specs?

Is there a chance that leap motion will be supported by ED in VR at a certain point?

It's the beginning of month 4 and we still haven received neither the tomcat nor the hornet!lolI think it would make a lot of sense. Not all in the same weekend, but back to back yes.I would release it like this:
Month 1 - 2.5
Month 1 - New module (since the Harrier trailer is out then Harrier is up first.)
Month 2 - New module F-14 (Because I wanted this one to be first ;)
Month 3 - New module F-18 (ED finishes this group with the flagship and any remaining ocean vessels as the first patch update to 2.5)
Month 4 - Maintenance
Month 5 - Sale for older modules (target is new players who might be curious of other modules)
Once 2.5 is in then it's safe to bring in as many players as possible with the modules. Bringing in new players before 2.5 is premature. The split player experience and cost of the 2.0 maps will turn off a lot of players. Once the new Caucus map is available then a presentable experience is open to newcomers. 1.5 is an old map that has become dated to anyone not already all in with DCS, and the good looking newest maps are behind an intimidating initial price point for the full experience.
With the new Caucus map as the base the game can expand its player base freely. A normal initial price point for a module gets a player into the game and they won't have to feel like they are settling for 2nd rate. The Caucus map has every environment needed to make use of all the modules if configured properly to include naval ops. The rest is a specialized experience that players will warm up to paying because they have already been satisfied with a quality experience.

My time zone is UTC-7:00, therefore mountain time. Mainly fly mirage 2000c and f5e, mig21bis only for fun, and I do own flaming cliff 3 module

I started playing DCS all the way back to 3 years ago, and quite obviously, on my own. Is there any Canadian virtual squadron that I could join? and have a chance to play with some other dcs enthusiasts.
Have a great one!

Thanks, I might will buy the mcg grip and base, cuz I didn't saved myself enough money this summer, lolsince it seems you dont have the money for both, and that you are not that fanatic of the f14 (if you were you would bought it anyways) ill say go for the one that has more buttons and will ensure you will have less problems in the future with other planes.i guess...

The buttons are really my concerns, like it's a one time investment for the future 3 to 5 years, but it looks cool to fly the f14 with the exact joystick, isn't it?This "F-14 joystick" will be a 5/6 buttons (1 more if add the pad in grip base) + POV HAT grip.MCG PRO is ~24 or more buttons grips + mini-stick's + brake lever.
Apple and Oranges, different grips for different needs.
So best to do is bough MCG TM now, ops... when released in "two weeks, be sure" and when this F-14 grip came bough then too. ;)
