  1. In game the SideWinder was a test we do, and we choose to not include pre-made payloads with it, since a special rail is needed under the pylons to carry it.

    About the real AC, yes the Mb-339A was tested in evaluation with the AIM-9L and Matra Magic, it was implemented in 1986 by MB-339A I-GROW (testbed for the Platform later named MB-339C).

    Italy choose the MB-339A only as light trainer Aircraft, not CAS or air defense role, but for the export version in this role it was able to carry ELT-555 ecm pod in conjuction with 2 SideWinder or Magic missiles.

    Thanks for the clarification!

  2. HIGHLY SATISFIED

    I've been flying this beautiful thing for an entire day now, and I enjoyed it a lot! Thank you guys so much for creating this fun and high-quality mod!

    Here are some of the bugs that I've experienced (though you guys might have already been aware of most of these):

    When starting from the ground, the parking brake level appears to be in the released position, though the brake is in fact applied, meaning I have to click twice to release the brake;

    The NWS indicator illuminates when the NWS is disabled;

    TrackIR doesn't work with the normal "HEADTRACKER" control category, only the "TrackIR" category, which creates a lot of inconveniences (i.e. not able to use head tracking in exterior views; not able to use head tracking at all after switching back from another aircraft);

    When wingtip tanks are installed, the warning panel indicates that the tanks are empty;

    I tried using the salvo jettison button for once and it obliterated the engine for some reason. I will try to replicate the situation to see what happened.

    And as for the "wish list":

    Brake axes;

    Zoom axis;

    Three-way switch control for the airbrake;

    Three-way switch control for the flaps;

    Smoother animation for rudder and landing gears;

    The performance chart for calculating rotation speed and things;

    Radio navigation;

    and more (Sorry guys, I'm picky :smartass:)

    In addition, does the MB-339A carry heaters IRL? It feels like only the C variant carries heaters. AIM-9P is certainly available in game, but there is no tone, no uncage control and no missile rail whatsoever.

  3. Yes, a custom user manual will be shipped with the package, but we cannot include or provide links of original manuals: the MB-339 is still in service and some sections are classified and cannot be divulged.

    Thank you for the clarification. That explains a lot.

    And, since I'm looking for the dive bombing table (the main reason I'm searching for the volume 2), will there be a dive bombing table included in the manual? It's quite important for flying ground attack missions.

    Just curious. :smartass:

  4. Looks amazing! I have been waiting for this for a while. Didn't expect it to be ready for release this soon.

    One quick question:

    Are there any documents that are going to be shipped with this mod?

    If not, do any of you guys have a copy of the MB-339A weapons delivery manual volume 2?

    I bought the volume 1, and can't find the volume 2 online (I would like to use the bombing table), at least not through English sources.
