  1. So, My VR head position is "stuck" as if it were reading off a TrackIR sensor.... When I keep my head still and look left and right it is fine, but when i move my head forwards/backwards the ENTIRE view moves (such that the world around me remains the same distance from my head) Strangely, I can zoom with my middle mouse button now in VR, which shouldnt be the case This only started happening after I was toggling the cockpit views in non-VR mode (was fooling around in the cockpit, used Middle Mouse button double click to reposition my views), but retoggling this did not help Tried deleting the savedgames DCS folder and it did not help. I also tried deleting the "view.lua" file and it did not help. In my frustration I just uninstalled the entire DCS game and am redownloading it right now Fingers Crossed...
  2. Ok I have since learned how to make skins and voila!
  3. I Understand that from the Harrier onwards, a new DRM system is in use, that was previously alluded to be able to work on both Steam and Standalone. However, the steam store page for the harrier indicates that its incompatible with standalone I would just like to ask for a clarification on this issue; will it be PERMANENTLY unable to swap? Asking because I have NTTR on steam and would like to know before I get the Hornet =)
  4. Good Day, I fly in VR and i have found the F10 view to be unnecessarily obstructive in VR. The main issue i have with it is that: 1) it is too "close" to your face, making it rather hard to access the buttons at the sides of the screen easily in a pinch 2) it takes you out of the cockpit and your hands off your HOTAS (usually), making it rather clunky in VR After discussion with some peers, we have several recommended suggestions: 1) (MOST IDEAL) - a "snap-view" type of F10 map that appears similar to a kneeboard image, small, unobtrusive and importantly allowing you to maintain SA in your cockpit. However the interface/buttons might be an issue to program/code 2) (Interim) have a smaller F10 FOV such that it is easier to read at a glance and doesnt take uup your entire cockpit view, maybe even make it translucent like the options tab that pops up in VR 3) (Compromise) increase button size, decrease FOV, maybe make the window translucent? To ease navigation of the icons in VR Please let me know if you feel these are feasible! As VR becomes more accessible we will only have more players that will start to deal with these clunky issues, right now the F10 implementation feels rather clunky and not streamlined. Thanks!
  5. Good Day, I have recently purchased a Microsoft Force Feedback 2 and it works great! ...but I only get "rumble" effects on Russian aircraft (Su25,Su27, MiG29) These are from stall buffet and/or gun firing I do not get these effects on the F15C and the F-5E!!! (So it is not just a flaming cliffs issue, anyway I can replicate the rumble on the Russian FC3 Aircraft...) From a quick search of the forums, the F15C apparently used to have such features, but they disappeared around 2014 and were not addressed Link: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=122494&highlight=force+feedback+f15 https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=123549&highlight=force+feedback+f15 Is there any fix or workaround I can do to get this feature back? Also I hope future aircraft (hoping to get the F18 on release) will have it! Thanks!
  6. Good Day, As per the title, I was wondering if anyone would be so kind to render these beautiful schemes in DCS: The iconic light-grey "diamond head" is what really does it for me, Singapore recently retired these bad boys If possible, id like to request this Squadron Marking: 149 Squadron based in Paya Lebar Air Base: Cheers!
