Sorry, but where is the track file in there?
There are a lot of files but no *.trk.
I would like to compare your track. To me it seems like your Windows XP is to slow. You oced your 8400 to 3,9 GHz. I have my 8600 clocked @ 4,2 GHz and I have average FPS with the original stress test track around 80 - 90 with 1680x1050 and the same settings as yours. I dont think that my 280GTX is the only reason that doubles the FPS. And my AF/AA settings are actually at 16/4 (you used 8/2).
As far as I know BS could only use 1 core (correct me if I am wrong). So the best that can happen is that other cores using the all other programms that are running in the background. I dont know how that could result in doubling the FPS with Windows 7.

I use X52 Pro in combination with the pedals from my Logitech Driving Force GT Wheel.

If you switch view camera during track playback it is taken as you are editing track and you will have all controls on views in replay since you've touched them.

It would be nice to have the possibility to switch back to the original recorded head movement. It adds a lot to a movie/playback when the head moves naturally.

The movie is really nice. But the music destroys it for me. The music is not my cup of tea. And i like movies better with the original sound or at least the music only in the background or in some special moments.
How did you get the slow-motion? Is it possible to slow down during replay or did you made it while cutting and editing everything with some software?

Dont know if this has been mentioned before, but wouldnt it be cool to have the wii tracking your finger all the time, so that the mousepointer is always at your fingertip?
It should be like
- 1st LED always on = translate to mouse movement
- 2nd LED only on when press = mouse click

But has anyone thought about how to simulate the mouse wheel for the rotary knobs in the cockpit?

I noticed it during a replay. When I start the replay it is by default in cockpit view. When I used TrackIR in that recorded flight, the head movement is also recorded. That is very nice. But when I switch to any other view during that replay and then back to cockpit, the recorded head movement is gone.

I would also like to have the fly-by-jump-view. Lctrl+F3 does not work here.

Glass IMO needs a bit darker color, skin is fine :D
I think that the glass looks to milky in general. You can barely recognise the reflections. It looks almost like it is not really glass. It should be a lot darker.

I'd like to map one of the rotaries to adjust the target box size, but I'm still getting the hang of the software and have yet to come up with a satisfactory solution...has anyone else got this mapped to a rotary? If so could you tell me how you did it? Note I'm using an X52 (not pro) which I dont believe is compatible with the X52pro profiles, but the programming's the same

I am looking for suggestions about what commands I can/should assign to the rotarys and the slider on my X52Pro.
I had the shkval zooming assigned to the slider (splitted the axis). But then I noticed that always one of the two keys is pressed constantly. It worked ingame, but I think having one key pressed all the time is not a clean and good way.

That's normal... you have to use right rudder to get the final alignment. The turn on target mode is set up for gun employment which is why it's offset to the left.
Oh, ok.
But why is that? I would assume that the autopilot system is precise enough to align the Shark correctly with the target. I mean, it can the hold the Shark in a perfect hover.

I have a problem. I am in auto hover and automatic turn on target somehow doesnt work right. Or not like I expect it to. When I do the list as in the first post described, the outer (bigger) circle is always 1-2cm on the left from the inner circle (marked target). Automatic turn on target is on.

But I really hoped that now with the release of the english version, we also got a complete corresponding english manual. I already have printed the whole old english manual. But I wouldnt have hesitated to print the real english manual again.
As I am from germany too, it would have been one translation step less for me.
BTW, I will definitely buy the professional printed manual too.

Having an english cockpit now, but still the manual with pictures of a russian cockpit. That doesnt fit very well.

But the cockpit is now in english. So, are the descriptions of the cockpit buttons and knobs in the manual now in english too? Or ist it still that the buttons have the russian language in the description and then are translated? For instance like in page 2-6?

Plus, are the pictures of the cockpit panels and instruments are still with the russian description, or now in english?

The manual that is for download on the DCS site is still the old one. Will it be replaced by the new manual?
