well, ... that's my point :thumbup:. honnestly , a software itself has a "performance" . i hope they can improve it and make things better. i know FSX , XPLANE are in the same problematic : the more heavier is the scene the less FPS it run at . but sincerly , hey , 30 fps (with good frametime delta) is a requirement ...

you are right . and from what i read here and there, they heavily modified the 3D engine. i wish someone do a such benchmark for 2.5

Hi . i am facing the same problem of FPS degradation while using any sort of TGP/svkhal etc here is a good topic on cpu and gpu perfs comparaison : https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=157374 unfortunatly, the author didnt specify if he especially tested, the framerate in this situation. i have, well , 40 50 fps in su27 yeah. but only 18 20fps (fake, with huge frametime delta) with a TV monitor looking at a unit in wood area , at low altitude... and it's a problem i had since flaming cliff. i never had a huge high end computer to be sure it IS possible to get a full time smooth framerate in this sim. maybe some of you can witness that's possible. an high end 1080ti gear up with an lastgen i7 MUST NOT show this lack of performance imho.

It seems i'm not the only one affected by this problem. https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3396230&postcount=28 and he plays with a 1080Ti ... i tried to reduce the cockpit resolution. it seems to have no impact at all. either visually or performance. but i double check with gpuz , when my framerate drop , the gpu load is still at 99% . that make me think that's a gpu bottleneck.

title say all . i'm wondering how a fresh i7 8000 serie perform compared to my old and venerable 2600k . framerate while using targeting system is not smooth. as soon as i off it , framerate climb again to a comfortable 40 - 50 fps ps: where is the bottleneck ?

Hello . i have problem with SRS. i use the last released (1.4.6.0) , i tried to connect to buddyspike server, wich was a success, but my radio overlay show me "Unknown" on all 3 channels, with a KA-50. edit: solved i didnt "install" the scripts
