Nah the 95 degree is not during DCS I should have mentioned that it only runs that hot when the cpu is fully stressed, like in a benchmark (prime95 or intelburntest) during DCS I can't even get it up to temperature anymore now because of the update that just released today... It's crashing almost imidiatly now... GPU doesn't get up to temp either...
I've strestested my laptop with Furmark and intelburntest on for half an hour to see if it throttle's but it does not. Just the CPU is like 5 degrees from Tj max.... Apperantly that's normal in a laptop... I would love to go back to a desktop to not have this issue, but it's not possible because of my job... :/
Besides, every other game I have works fine, just like DCS did before the update... It can't be the hardware. It shouldn't be the hardware... If this can not run it then ALOT of pc's will not be abled to run it... Not many people own a high end desktop, only us gamers/simulator fanatics spend the money to get high end hardware. And this CPU is the 2nd highest model from last generation with a small margin... Even if it were to spit out some false data, which i highly doubt, DCS like many games should be abled to handle a small percentage of error, like a lagspike or something or a short framedrop, but not an instant crash like it does now...
I'm sure it's software related, I'm not sure wich software though... I'm currently in the proces of rolling back the Nvidia driver to a previous version and i'll see how that goes... It is a certainty that the directx driver causes the crash, but the question is, is it because of false data from DCS (almost positive this is the case) or is it the driver code that is faulty... We'll find it probably...
Thanks for the input though :)
