I can't make you understand because I don't explain it well
I'm a network administrator and I know how to use a computer and save files, but you wouldn't know that.
I'll try one last time and then stop wasting time with me (even if it's nice)
I'm editing an assignment I've been working on for an hour. When I do CTRL+S usually my mission stayed in place on the screen and the *.miz file of the mission took the time to save (in the file manager).
Since the last patch, when I press CTRL+S (or whatever) DCS loads a new mission in the editor and in the top left corner of the window it says: new mission (instead of the name of my mission).
At this point, if I leave this new mission (which I don't need) without saving anything, I have to reopen my mission.
And if you have the misfortune to answer, by leaving this (blank) mission that you want to record, it is your real mission that is erased by this (new mission)
Some of my friends also have this bug but randomly, while I have it every day
I hope I have made myself better understood -
equivalent at CTRL+S and i've already tryied this but without success

This is great, thank you for explaining the auto-save problem.
However, there is still the problem of saving a mission while editing.
When you go to "save" and click on it, DCS saves your mission BUT ..... shows me a new mission on the screen (marked on the top left of the screen) and if I want to find my mission I have to close this "new mission created by the editor" and open mine again.
But if I make the mistake of saving this new mission (blank), I am unable to reopen my old mission because it will reopen but ..... blank
This is my real problem. -
When you want to save your edition :
When you select CTRL+S after a slight freeze (usual) a new mission is actually presented to you (name on the top left) instead of keeping the current mission on the screen
You have to systematically reopen the mission you were editing after making a quick saveAND
Stil in the editor, the auto-save function does not work

very relevant question: I find the other display more precise (readable too)

Ah, but I'm not the only one who has this problem on our servers as well as public servers.
To answer your question about repairing / reinstalling: yes of course I tested this first
Even when I asked other players, they found out that they had the same problem at home (which means that not many players use this function to know their alignment on track as on roads) -
even during a flight selected from the "immediate actions"

Hi EVERYONE,
have you noticed that the needle of the instrument indicating the heading, does not work anymore and remains blocked on the axis 0-180°?
in flight, on runway..... it is always blockedAnnoying to know its alignment on a track without this instrument (obliged to use the F10 card)

It seems that since the last update, we can no longer launch the mission on any of our servers. It loads without ever launching the mission
Is there anyone who has the same behaviour in multiplayer? -

This mission is absolutely fabulous. We spend hours on it.
Yesterday we have had a request (for you) :
the same mission BUT .... only with Cold War units (15,sabre,21,19...T55 sa2 and sa3 etc,etc .....)
Is it possible for you to spend time on this idea ? PLEASE !!!!!!!

i've just reinstall all my game
Same error....something wrong with the game files
My friend hasn't this ERROR when he host.
first time i "crash" on a problem like that.....and i'm unable to understand why it happend.

Problem report :
On the F-18 we still can mount the AGM-154 and the Aim-120. (it's not forbidden).

I confirm, it's impossible to unlock (de-crank) the throttle, even with the keyboard (rebinded or not).
May be it will be repaired with the next update....
