I'll post this in case it helps somebody. I have strangely poor and choppy VR FPS only in the F-15e around 20 compared to all other modules @ around 80 fps. This seems to be the case on all other maps but Caucasus which seems normal. After playing around I found that enabling or disabling the "Full Screen" DCS options setting thus forcing a restart of DCS when hitting ok will fix the issue for me in that newly started session. After this "options-restart" the F-15 has similar FPS figures as the F-14 and the apache. If you quit and restart DCS the issue returns until I redo the "settings restart". The issue can clearly be seen on the frame times. Image 1 normal start launching F-15e mission Cyprus invasion, Image 2 after the settings change restart launching same mission. No other modules seem to behave like this. Go figure... System specs: 13900k / 4090 / 64GB

No prob, pulled my hair over it yesterday. You can test it by disabling deep guard and active scan temporarily, that will enable you to start DCS... DCS log indicates ED_SOUND.DLL might be the blocked function.

You don't happen to run f-secure antivirus? That one updated yesterday and now prevents DCS from launching completely. Had to uninstall since adding DCS to excluded from protection did not cut it.

Thanks for the suggestion, but this is what I have done, did it again just to make sure but the control setting is stilll disabled in DCS. Also tried re-enabling the extension and disabling it again with restarts of Voice attack, running repairs at all stages in between and after (openbeta build). Weird and very frustrating, what am I missing :huh: Finally managed to solve it, what worked was to delete the entire f14 controls folders from the user DCS folder then restarting DCS and re-importing the backup keybinds. It seems if the controls get corrupted there is no way to clear them out but deleting them entirely. :thumbup:

Yes, tried that, makes no difference. The "Toggle menu" line in the f14 dcs control profile is red even if emptied out.

Please help, I really need to disable and / or uninstall the AIRIO part of Vaicom pro and get the "jester wheel" back. I have tried disabling it from the EX tab (restarting VA and DCS) removing all the Vaicom luas, a DCS repair and Clean and and even tried deleting and re-downloading the whole f14 but nothing helps. Running short on ideas here...
