  1. :cheer3nc::beer::cheer3nc: Got it fixed. Had to install DCS World 2.5 on C: and install Normandy and Nevada. It wanted my authentication key # for both. Once I did that, I opened DCS Open Beta and it worked fine. I then removed the Nevada and Normandy from DCS World 2.5 on my C: drive leaving the basic DCS World 2.5. I now have 123gb free on C: I will be operating DCS World OpenBeta on D: drive. It's working fine now.
  2. Moved DCS World 2.5 Open Beta to D: Everything is working except Normandy and Nevada. They will not load. The Persian Gulf and Caucasus load fine. The program crashes\locks up looking for my authentication key. There seems to be a problem with the registry finding this in DCS in drive D: I have drive D: Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta in the start icon properties. Have removed and reinstalled with no help. Everything works fine except those 2 terrains I did not move DCS from drive C: I uninstalled it completely and reinstalled it into drive D:
  3. Found out that I must remove DCS from OS C: and install it on Data D:. 256mg on C: drive is not large enough for DCS and operate the system too. Should have got the 512mg SSD. I now have DCS on my 2 TB hard drive D: It runs fine with high settings selected.
  4. I have received my new computer and have installed DCS open beta on drive C: by default. My drive OS C: is now almost full, including all that preloaded stuff and showing red with 19 gb free. My drive Data D: is 1.81 TB free. What to do ? This SSD is new to me. 256gb M.2 PCle . 2TB 7200 RPM SATA 6gb/s (storage) Someone please advise. If my OS C: fills up will it spill over into Data D: ? How does this affect my operating system ?
  5. If I want to install my DCS modules in DCS World Open Beta on my new computer, I must first uninstall them from my old computer DCS World Open Beta first. The same applies for DCS World 2.5. Is this true, the module can only be installed in one directory of the same name at a time.
  6. Thanks, tried the rollback, rolled back video driver as well. Still crashing when aircraft is loading. Maybe all those prior crashes messed up the operating system.
  7. I cannot even run 1.5 now with the recent updates. DCS has ran off and left us with the lower end computers. Most of us cannot afford to upgrade or buy a new computer. They should at least allow you to install a earlier version of 1.5 before the Persian Gulf and F/A-18. I ran 2.5 open beta until the recent changes. Now my i7-2600CPU@3.40GHz 7.9 ram will not run anything. I have spent hours upon hours trying everything to no avail. I love DCS and adore all the good stuff they are doing. I have been with them since Lock-On. I'm getting a new computer next week and eagerly await to run F/A-18 and the Gulf. My little nephew is crazy about DCS. I would give him my current computer if the earlier DCS World would run. DCS should not leave the low end computers in the dust of progress for now. At least a roll back to 1.5 before those last updates.
  8. I have been playing DCS for the last year until the recent updates. I have reloaded DCS World open beta, DCS world, and DCS World 1.5. Nothing works now in either version, just crashes. I've tried many things during the last few days with no result. Everything seemed fine until I loaded the Persian Gulf. The F-18 will crash on load too. I have a older system GTX 960, i7-2600CPU@3.40 GHz, 7.9 Ram. I have ordered a new replacement due to arrive next week- Aurora R7 i7k 8700k, GTX 1080Ti, 32GB Dual Channel Hyper X Ram, 256GB M.2 PCie SSD 2TB 7200RPM SATA 6GB/s, 850w EPA Bronze PSA Liquid Cooled Chassis. My question now is, Will I have a problem with DCS modules after reloading the 3 DCS versions these last days. I plan to load only DCS open beta on the new computer. Any advise on moving or reloading the modules from my old machine to the new computer. Is a module restricted to only one DCS world version a time.
