Have you tried running the game in 1440p 144fps? I have a 1080p 60fps monitor currently but I'd like to upgrade to higher resolution and fps. I'm definitely gonna need to get a better GPU as I wanna hit max settings, what I'm wondering is if my CPU will bottleneck at those settings. (My clock is stable at 4.2ghz)

Hello all, I want to get into DCS and am wondering what kind of performance my somewhat dated PC will get. My specs are: GTX 780Ti 2GB i7 4770k 16GB RAM If anyone could tell me what kind of framerate I could expect at max settings that would be great. I fear that the GPU would be the bottleneck, and if you agree, do you think the CPU would still do ok? In this scenario if possible I want to just upgrade GPU and avoid having sort a whole new build.
