I loaded LOMAC onto my Windows 7 computer and found Star Force calling for serial numbers that I don't know where to find. I also want to run Flaming Cliffs and I get the same serial number request. Where do I find those serial numbers. I have paid $14.95 twice and still don't see any serial numbers to enter into Star force. Can someone please advise me of the right procedures to get up and running.

They finally gave me a full refund with no problems at all. I guess maybe they're just busy people and it takes a while for them to get back to us.

That would be in f15c scramble mission using the AIM-120C missile, I press key 2 to engage it. I am abeam of the bandit, shoot off a few missiles then I lose lock, (red square) and I can't shoot missiles until I switch to AIM-9M then later I can get lock with the red square again and fire AIM-120C. Is that the way it's supposed to happen or am I doing something wrong?

For some reason I lose missile lock, the square red box, after a few rounds of missiles in the F15. Then I must switch to another mode, shoot other missiles and then sometimes I can get missile lock back again. Any idea what's happening and how to fix it?

Thanks for your feedback guys. I've got to admit that I was very reluctant to load FC on my computer once I read about Starforce Protection. So far no problems but time will tell when I go to copy a DVD and I'll see if it works with DVD shrink and Nero or not.

Has anyone here encountered any problems with Starforce Protection? The only problem I've had so far is that it would not let me install LOMAC on my computer until I fully removed Starforce Protection. According to what I've read on the internet it's a copyright protection program and it's a very malicious program that can actually shut down your computer under the right circumstances. Starforce Protection comes with each copy of Flaming Cliffs and you don't have a choice in wether you get it or not, you just get it. Has anyone removed Starforce Protection after loading and running Flaming Cliffs and what were your results?

Lock On 1.01 and 1.02 are OK but they they seem like a kids game once you get playing Flaming Cliffs. Flaming Cliffs offers so much more precision and detail in weapons systems that it's worth the extra money you pay for it.

December 31st was my first contact with them about it so maybe they'll be in touch within the next few days.

I thought the same as you at first with Vista Home Premium and got rid of it but got back into it again as soon as someone intelligent with the program should me all the benefits. I won't go back to XP, it's an antique compared to Vista Ultimate which is what I have now. Even my wife, an XP nut, sneaks over to my Vista machine when she needs to get work done quickly. Anyway, this is not the place to discuss how good Vista is, it's about LOMAC and if you know how to get in touch with the LOMAC FC support people I sure could use their working email address if you have it. Malignant, I have to tell you that I have had and used all the Windows operating systems to this point and Vista is by far the very best one so far by a long shot.

I got it running. It was Starforce Protection that was causing all the problems. As soon as I removed Starforce Protection from my computer LOMAC installed with no problems at all.

I had 1.02 and 1.1 and 1.12b all running on this computer before I formatted the hard drive and reloaded the operating system. Now when I try to load LOMAC it just minimizes to the toolbar, stays there a few seconds and pops back up into the install window. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can get this sim loaded because I'm starting to have withdrawal symptoms from not being able to play. I'm trying to load the game from CD and the CD is in mint condition so I don't think the problem is there.

I just removed Windows 7 from my computer because it wouldn't run Lock On, for one reason, and now I'm back to good old Vista Ultimate but Lock On just gives a runtime error message when I try to to start it and does nothing else. I had Lock On running fine on this system before I tried Windows 7. I even tried running Lock On in Windows XP compatibility but no luck and I uninstalled and reinstalled with no difference. Can anyone help?

Hi guys, I'm thinking about investing in a TrackIR 4 setup but before I do I want to get some opinions and find out if the system is worth the money or not. Sometimes gadgets look good in ads but when you go to actually use them they turn out to be junk. Does anyone have experience with the TrackIR 4 that they can share.

There is no doubt about it, FC 1.12 is the most awesome version and it works great. My thanks to all who contributed to getting it working on my computer.:thumbup:

Your information was spot on and now I am up and flying with version 1.12b How you ever arrived at your solution to your problem is beyond me but I'm glad you figured it out. Now I have to go learn to fly all the new and complex machinery. Thanks again I was beginning to lose my cool until you came along.:thumbup:

Well I just uninstalled everything plus wiped the registry clean and tried again and ended up with the exact same problem so I guess I'll have to clean it all off again and try an install in a different directory. Don't know what'll happen now as I've used up all four of my activations. The game sure seems to be worth the effort but does it have to be this darn hard.:cry:

Here's how I did the installation: uninstalled LOMAC 1.02 from my computer then installed a fresh copy of 1.02 from CD and removed the desktop icon, then I downloaded and installed and activated FC 1.1 and then downloaded and installed 1.12b for Web version. I just uninstaled everything again this morning and tried just installing a fresh copy of LOMAC 1.02 then I installed the downloaded FC 1.1 over it and I still get the same results. It's a mix of 1.02 and 1.1. I get the opening screen of FC then it goes to the old screen of 1.02 and when I try to fly the planes the graphics are terrible but the FC logos are displayed and when I check my program files the file indicates that the program is version 1.1 but the screen say's it's version 1.02 and I don't even have 1.12b loaded yet. What gives? I've tried this 6 times and I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.

I have made 4 unsuccessful attempts at installing LOMAC 1.1 On the very first attempt everything seemed fine it read 1.1 up next to the logo and it displayed seven planes on the right hand side but when I shut down and reopened it only showed six planes and it displayed version 1.02 in one of the gauges in the lower right but inside the game it showed Flaming Cliffs logo on the promo/wait pages. The planes and the bullets and missile graphics were very terribly poor also. I made a clean install on each attempt, I have a strong computer and I redid the download just in case but nothing helped. I did read the installation sticky but nothing there is related to my problem. Can anyone help or offer advice?
