  1. Alright I'll try again with all of this info. Thanks Zylon.
  2. I dont understand it either. Because that used to work since I first bought the f18. I could use the dispense button (without aft or fwd) to dump both flare and chaff in one press, on any prog i set. Now no matter program its on, it will dump flares and chaff until empty. What is the point to having the dispense button if it can't really be used? If it was used for emergency jettison of all the countermeasure it will dump all 30 flares but have some chaff still left over.
  3. Is there a way to get 1 chaff 1 flare within a single program again with dispense button engaging both instead of using 2 buttons from now on? The way my dispense controls are setup its awkward to have two buttons to do what one should handle for a chaff/flare hybrid prog.
  4. Ok so what I'm gathering is I should just stick with using aft and fwd bypass - but if so then the ale 47 system really doesnt do what it was inteded to do anymore with automatic presets where I can press and forget. I know a few months back the dispense button didn't act like an emergency-dump-everything button and would drop 1 flares/chaff as I needed it to. Now an update must have changed that. Is there any way for the dispense button to be used again to drop 1 chaff 1 flare or am I stuck with bypass? Also, is there a way to map aft and fwd together to one button? Thanks for the help guys.
  5. What dispense button should be mapped to the hotas for ale47? All I saw in controls was dispense, then aft and forward I believe for bypass dispensing. Thanks.
  6. I've been having this issue for a while now where my manual mode preference is not used. I will set chaff and flare to 1 with 1 interval and .25 spacing like it was on bypass. No matter my setting and even on a basic mode preset the countermeasures just keep dispensing until there's nothing left. This is with man 1 selected after I have saved the new preset.
