  1. Thanks. Is there a way other than manually inputting coordinates to send a designated point to PP mode?
  2. Hi, There are other threads reporting similar issues to this one but they are closed and do not specifically focus on this. If I designate a taget with the TGP and transfer it to a GBU-38 in TOO mode, the attached video says that I should be able to change the JDAM mode to PP and have to coordinates stored. However, when changing frrom TOO to PP mode, my designated point on the TGP changes and slews to somewhere else. Further, the coordinates of my designated point on the TGP do not transfer the the PP mode. (I think this is why the tgp slews to somewhere else.) My issue is similar to the one described in this post Can someone please tell me if I'm doing something wrong or if it may be a bug? Thanks. The below will explain what I am trying to do better. If you try what the video is doing in the latest open beta version of DCS, it does not work.
  3. When I start any mission provided by Heatblur for the F14 that begins on a carrier, I am placed too close to my wingman and cannot move as a result. Am I doing something wrong? Please excuse me if this has already been reported.
  4. Hi There, I have the F/A-18C and love it and I want to add another western (primarily A2A) aircraft to my collection. Would anyone here recommend the F-5E as an aircraft to compliment the F/A-18? I like that it is a maneuverable (from what I've seen) but I'm worried that it'll feel a bit limited in what I can do with it as: (please correct me if I'm wrong) - There are no radar-guided missile options. - Capacity for only two sidewinders. (and droptanks + a light load of bombs) - Limited Ground Attack Capability (requires buddy-lasing or dumb bombs only). Due to this, I'm worried that the F-5 will become less attractive compared to other aircraft over time as I'll be required to either create simplistic/short missions myself (as due to my geographical location and poor internet connection, online play isn't feasible and there is a limited payload capability) that lack as much complexity as I could make in a Hornet mission. Would I be correct in coming to this conclusion? Any input is welcome.
  5. Hi There, **This is not a guaranteed bug.*** I have been doing the F/A-18 Hornet 'Instant Action' BFM missions in the latest (non-beta) version of DCS 2.5. However, I have found that when the target is being tracked by radar in the gun mode (I can't remember this mode's name off the top of my head) and I place the piper over the target aircraft and the 'SHOOT' cue is flashing (I am in range), when I fire the gun, I find that none of the bullets will hit the target despite doing a long burst which is 'on the target.' This happens at all attitudes and I find that I can only get direct hit on the target at very close ranges. I apologise for the lack of log files and lack of video footage to describe my 'issue.' I am not sure if this is correct or not however, I feel that this may be a bug. I am happy to admit that I am wrong though if that is the case. Kind Regards.
