Tornado nose wheel
Middle part of Panavia Tornado nose wheel...? (Wishful thinking...)

Hi Yuya
Have you seen this thread? There are alot of really nice BS mods in there. http://forums.eagle.ru/forumdisplay.php?f=89

Hey, just wanna say I've experienced the exact same thing as mentioned above with 1.0.1 Hoping for a fix too...
-
Yes, he then travels to the ingress point again and then engages the target...
EDIT: oh, sorry I misread. If I designate with the shkval and tell him to attack my target he goes straight for it.
-
^^^^^
This is fine if you want to keep giving him ingress points, but lets say that you want him to engage a new set of targets directly ahead, can you make him engage without using ingress points all together? I would like to know myself for quriosity purposes.... (I havent been using it myself, so I wouldnt know...)
Exactly my problem! :joystick:

Hi
I have a few questions regarding the data link. Hopefully someone can help me.
I've been trying to wrap my head around the data link and implementing it in my missions.
I wonder if there is a way to "erase" the target and ingress information sent to a wingman after he has executed an attack data link point command.
My problem is my wingman keeps remembering the ingress point I first gave him so whenever I give him new targets to attack he flies to that initial ingress point and THEN attacks the new targets. That is alright, but sometimes it brings him across the battlefield and I dont want to keep giving him new ingress points keeping him out of trouble just because I gave him one for the first attack.
So what I want to know, is there a way to clear data link targets which were previously given to him. Give him a clean slate so to speak so any previous datalink points don't clutter up what I want him to do. Clear only seems to clear data link targets on my abris not on his or am i wrong?
Hope you guys understand what I'm talking about!

Have a look through the keyboard commands it's in there somewhere. I just can't remember which combination.
-
There is an "options" sort of checklist in the abris menu....I don't remember what I did but I've got mine to always orient north no problem...I'll have to check it out and get back to you...
EDIT: Go to the menu page in the ABRIS and click "options" then the down arrow once, then "change" twice, then "menu". Your new settings should be saved and you'll notice the map is now oriented north.
Hi Rhino
Thank you, but that is not the problem. I want my position to be centered on the map when in orientation mode north. As it is now, in that mode, the icon is at the bottom half of the map making difficult to use when flying south... :joystick:

Thanks Smil
But that mode is cancelled when I return to the nav mode. "erlb" is for setting markers, calculating and bearing readings. I would like to have my position in center when in normal nav mode... :-(

Hi all
A quick question.
I like to fly with the moving map orientation set to north for better orientation. The problem is that my position on the ABRIS nav mode is situated at the lower half of the map so that when I'm flying south it's hard to see where I'm going and what's in front of me.
Is there a way to center my position on the map so that the distance to each border of the map is the same?

Best sim ever. Thank you very much!

Going 250 km/h at ~25m above the ground I wouldn't be surprised if there were quite a bit of "beetle juice" on the windshield
"Id also like to know how to reduce the effect, its too heavy imo."
I think I'll make toned down version too!
-
Make me an English version and I'm a very happy customer, even if it's the same as the pdf included with the sim! I can only really start to enjoy a sim with a full printed manual in front of me. I hate all that PDF'ing...

hehe, throw some sand in your eyes and blink a few times and you'll have the scratches too...

Glad you like it!
@ The Moose I could make a less "dirty" window if you like? I think a completely clean crisp window is unrealistic unless you are flying a helicopter right of the factory line (and not right of the frontline). :smartass:

This is my Dust and Scratches window mod for the KA-50.
Download HERE for ModMan install
The mod does not cause a performance hit since the texture is the "same" as the orginal.
The mod is best used with Textures set to High in options.
Hope you like it!

It's not your mistake.

Hello
Everytime I try and upload a gif, jpg or whatever format as a signature (how ever small I even make it, 1px X 1px jpg) I keep getting this message: "Unable to save image"
I even tried refering to my homepage where I uploaded it with a direct URL - still same message. :bomb:
Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? (tried in both firefox and IE)
This is the sig:

Hello all
I have a small question regarding the two switches on the Autopilot panel.
There are two flip switches. One for baro/altitude hold data and one for desired heading/desired track (see picture).
The thing is both of them are switches 3 way switches and when you start out in a cold and dark pit they are both at the neutral position (pointing up)
What is that third setting in neutral position??
The manual talks of only two settings per switch...
From the manual:
6. “БАР-РВ” (Baro – Radar altitude) Autopilot altitude hold data source selection [LCTRL + X]
”БАР” – by pressure altimeter
”РВ" – by radar altimeter
7. “ЗК-ЛЗП” (Desired Heading – Desired Track Angle) Autopilot Heading/Course hold mode [LALT + X]:
“ЗК” – desired heading hold
“ЛЗП” – desired track angle hold
Thanks in advance!
