First post! Hello everybody.
I've got a problem with Lock On, no flaming cliffs. It keeps crashing for some reason, there doesn't seem to be a pattern involved, it seems very random. Sometimes it just crashes to desktop without any warning, sometimes it starts to stutter and eventually freezes, sometimes when I'm switching to map view and back the camera seems position at the very front of the aircraft, on the tip of the nose. and then it goes back, freezes and stutters and crashes to desktop or just freezes.
I almost exclusivly fly the su-25(love it, love it) so I haven't seen if this happens with other planes.
My rig:
Quad 2 Core q6600
Asus P5Q pro
Gainward HD4870
4 gigs of RAM
windows xp 64bit.
running at 1680x1050
I've heard that lock on and 64bit doesn't mix very well, so i tried chaning the compatibility mode to windows XP which only made it worse.
I've also heard that lock on flaming cliffs helps. But I'm a bit apprehensive of FC because of StarForce. And it's relatively hard to get.
I also have a question regarding FC, is the model quality of the regular su-25 improved?
