I did the repair, no joy,

I have been working on getting this computer of mine up to snuff to get on DCS. I got it loaded up and went into it and slide the music slider down to off, checked the vsync and full screen radio buttons and the game restarted; now I can move the mouse around, but the game is locked up. I can not click on anything and have to restart the computer to get out the main screen. i5 3570, RX590, 8 gig of ram; any thoughts? If this is on wrong board, I am sorry, completely new to this forum/game.
