An easier way to do it would to be use the Webgui, probably safer. But if you still want to edit it manually it's the serverconfig.lua in C:\users\yournamehere\saved games\DCS World(openbeta)\config. You probably were looking at the one in the dcs main directory that you don't want to touch
You haven't changed the port of the second server, go into serverconfig.lua on the second server and change the [port] = 10308 to 10309 and then the servers won't conflict
Occasionally my server crashes and requires a relaunch, I've done a bit of investigation and found that it was crashing with exception code: 0xc0000005
i know how it works, but you're using the regular dcs as the server meanwhile i'm on the proper dedicated server install that crashes out when you launch it through dcs.exe and only works when you launch it through dcs_updater.exe
that's a no from me boss, just tried it then, launching from dcs.exe asks for keys to register the terrains and after that crashes out, no way to launch dcs_updater.exe with the -w command. been like this since the dedicated server came out
Crashes out immediately after you get past it screaming at you to activate the free terrains, you have to run it through dcs_updater.exe to make it so it doesn't crash as soon as it starts up.
the reason this is an issue is that you can't use any of the parameters like -w to host multiple servers.
we need a way to indicate launch parameters through dcs_updater.exe or some other way to bypass the crash
