  1. I haven't played DCS in several months and wanted to get back into it with the DLSS addition to VR. However I'm getting a lot of jitter in the image/tracking and it's just not smooth at all, this only happens with the MT binary in ST with SteamVR it's fine. Like it's completely freaking out, and impossible to play.

    Is this a common issue and is there a quick fix available? I've tried a combination of frame rate reduction/locking and nothing seems to be working.

    Yes and all those are needed for DCS to continue to be relevant.

    Jumping in and out of VR isn't, so if there is a engine limitation. I'd rather they spend time on something. Important.

    This isn't the "request things to make DCS relevant" forum, this is the wishlist.

    I wish I had a way to hop in and out of VR like another flight sim is easily able to do today.

    Hi, just started flying the Mirage, which seems to be supported, will the F1EE need a patch to work? If so, any ideas when it may be available? Many thanks!

    Line 434 of simshaker.lua in the Program Files (x86) and your DCS Savegames scripts folder.

    change

    elseif obj.Name == "Mirage-F1CE" then dataTable.name = "M-2000C"

    to

    elseif obj.Name == "Mirage-F1CE" or "Mirage-F1EE" then dataTable.name = "M-2000C"

    However I don't seem to be getting engine rumble for either the F1CE or F1EE. Everything else seems to work.

    Anyone else have blocky clouds in the distance regardless of cloud quality settings?

    I run 100% res on a G2.

    Is that normal for VR?

    In VR? Yes absolutely. It's "normal". It's not good, but it's normal. Sadly.

    That's a pretty strong statement considering the 13900K isn't even out yet.

    Not quite the right thread, but the 13900K is no slouch especially at 1% percentile fps besides avg fps.

    The little orange line on these graphs that intel is trying to hide is the 5800X3D. I'm not the one making the strong statement, intel is.

    It seems odd anyways that nVidia has spent 10 billion $ to get enough 40X0 chips of TSMC and has produced 4090's since August and now all very expensive products are sold on day one.

    There's nothing odd about it, these are typical nvidia supply tactics. Can't get people to blow $1600+ if you don't create false demand.

    Mining is dead, the only people buying GPUs this time will be gamers and scalpers who are too dumb to realize that their time is over. There will be plenty of supply in the next month or two.

    :doh:  The same image is being displayed in both eyes essentially, so yes, it is a misrepresentation.  I don't get to call my 4K television an 8K television because I'm watching it with both eyes.

    You could arguably call it an 8k television if you watched a 4k image with each eye independent of each other.

    Either way it's just semantics and marketing. Who cares? It doesn't deserve this much discussion.
