  1. Do you guys know what the conditions are when the ground speed indicator on the hud disappears. And when it happens, how to reenable it. I noticed that it happens when your autopilot channels shut down. I also noticed that it tends to happen when you have too much yaw trim. But I can't put my finger on what exactly makes it shut down. As its a vital instrument when you're going into a hover, I'd like to know :) I tried searching the forum and the manual, but didn't find anything about it.
  2. Yeah, it's not really something you can solve with a deadzone. What you'd need is some lowpass temporal filtering on the joystick output, but I don't know how to do this in software, it would probably require a driver hack. You could probably fix it using a capacitator and resistor to make a filter circuit if you don't mind some soldering inside your throttle. For now I used the SST software to program zoom on the throttle mousewheel.
  3. I just had the idea to move sideways while keeping the nose on target using "auto turn to target" and the shkval. Now tis worked quite well, and I tried to get a vikhr shot off, but while doing that I noticed that the vikhr launch reticle was all the way to the left of my nose (I was moving sideways to the left). So, the solution was to turn the nose of my helicopter to the right, something like 10 degrees past the target. In short, because I was moving to the left, I had to point my nose to the right of the target. Now this is odd to me, as I thought those vikhr tubes look in the same direction as the nose of your helicopter and considering the launch velocity of the missile, the sideways velocity of the helicopter should be negligable with respect to the missile flight path. Is this a bug or am I missing something here?
  4. I had similar problems after I had to use this trick to manually install the SST profile software: http://www.saitek.com/UK/supp/ssticon.htm Turns out I had to run the driver installation again (I think that was the third time) after installing the SST software that way. After that and a reboot, the mouse on the x52 trottle worked. Also look at your current SST profile, it might be disabled or something.
  5. I read there are four language for the retail box version: English, French, German and Spanish. Do these box version contain only that one language version or do they also contain the English version?
