Both! The battery is always "live", the switch on the throttle quadrant hits the relay for the lighting in the cockpit and that's it. It's even called the "Undercarriage Indicator Master" switch.

You need to change some lines in the .lua file for the livery. Add "_k" after "SpitfireIX"; so - "SpitfireIX_k".
