A few friends and I have bought the DCS and after a week or so trying to get the heli off the ground, we wanted to try just flying around with each other without getting shot down. I have tried two methods. FIrstly, starting up the multiplayer normally and setting up a server then getting someone to join via IP address. Secondly, by using DCSMAX. On both occasions, when someone joins and we try to fly, a few issues come up: After a very short time after the scenario loads, the other person drops and the server restarts back to the lobby with just me in it. Occasionally, he will just drop and I sit there. On every occasion he cant get rid of the pause icon in the top right whereas, when I click the pause key, I can startup. Could anyone help me? Also, to just fly around together without having to use the weapons, whats the best type of scenario to load? Thanks...

Sorry, but that made me laugh........... the scenario being: <<<< goes to the drug store to get some headache tablets and something for my cold, and OH, can I have a helicopter flight sim too :)

This might be a silly question but....................... the BS skin on the DVD cover showing the shark mouth. Is this something that comes with the sim or something you have to find?

I've read through it and it's excellent... but why do I need modman?

I've had a quick look in search but couldn't find what I wanted. I'm extremely new to DCS but am having issues with my Logitech Extreme Pro joystick and sensitivity. If I simply grab hold of my joystick and try to keep it steady, its almost impossible. The slightest movement of the stick reacts quite a lot with the BS. I've got the logitech drivers and have tried reducing the sensitivity of the X and Y axes but it seems to make little to no difference. I wondered if someone here might be able to throw me an idea to help this issue.... Regards...

I'd like to know the same actually. I just got the game and in the nvidea driver settings tried to setup a profile for SLI but it will only let me run one instead of SLI. Is it the case that SLI won't work? Thanks in advance....

Same here Dan..... I got a mail yesterday to say it's left. Not sure if they deliver on Good Friday.......... Then again, my new PC that arrived, had the wrong motherboard in it so has to go back.... so I can wait :)

Actually, I found that to be the case on my current extreme Pro joystick. when turning left or right, its hard not to twist a little as it is very sensitive....

SIlly question as I don't think I can afford the CH products anyway right now, BUT....... for DCS, wouldn't the combat stick be a better buy than the flightstick pro, as it has more buttons on it?

I noticed on GAME.co.uk they have DCS on pre-order with 10 pounds off it....... ordered :)
