Battle-Fields

You probably wouldnt have flown with me as I never had time! Bone Head is my nick. The battle-fields.com site is 21 years old this November if I decide to keep it going. We hosted IL2 servers from before they had dedicated software. It was a pain though so I have been waiting for years for DCS to release something usable!

Im running a dedicated server on server hardware (dell 1950) virtualised. Runs fine apart from it crashes about every 4 hours. Anyone else having similar issues or have any tips on troubleshooting.

Hi there. They are in the UK. The IL2 servers were probably the most used in the world over the years. Used to be called UK dedicated and then Battle-Fields.com

Ive been trying to post here but for some reason its been blocked, anyhow it looks like I can post now. I run Battle-Fields.com and since it came out we had up to 4 dedicated IL2 servers. We have trimmed this back to just the one now as it is slowly going quiet. Ive been waiting for years for a dedicated server for DCS and we now have one server that we are testing. Im hoping we eventually get a true dedicated server as what we have now is a step in the right direction but not ideal. We are also suffering from regular server crashes which time permitting I am trying to work out. So anyhow Hello! :thumbup:
