Hello All, I want to do a mission where a tuploev flies over enemy targets and drops the Bombs over theme. I tried different things but it doesnt work 1. Waypoint over the target. Target zone defined.... Do i have to work with triggerzones? I thought it is possible easy like per instances a M109 firing to a defined Fix Point..... Can anybody explain me how i have to do this? Hallo Zusammen, Ich habe das Thema hier verfolgt und bin natürlich auch der Meinung das diese Teil nicht mehr wirklich 'Kriegstauglich' ist. Eine Kampfwertsteigerung wäre toll ;) (Avionics, Sensors) Aber als Simulator finde ich ihn genial. Macht spass das Ding zu fliegen und zu bedienen.... Ich habe sogar die Angst das ein Apache -zwar moderner- nicht die Simualtionstiefe erreichen wird da dieser ja ein zweiplätzer ist und eine Pilot allein den Appache kaum bedienen kann. Da wird es sicher Vereinfachungen geben... was ein Abstrich im Realismus sein wird..... Gruss Thomas

Hello, I want do make a mission and the following component: Goal: An Russian MLRS Grad should start firing on a Targetzone as defined triggerd by a Tank arriving at he Triggerzone. I placed the MLRS Grad, defined the Targetzone for theme. I Defined a triggerzone and a the Trigger with the followwing conditions and actions: If the 'Tank #3' from Group Vehicel 'Tank', arrives at the triggerzone, the MLRS Grad should be activated and start firing I tought that then the MLRS strat launching the Rockets. But the MLRS launches their rockets already at the begining of the mission and not as expected as triggered.... what am i doing wrong? Regards Thomas

News, OK, I tried my own mission, i changed from Takoff position to parking position in parking position the helo is dark an cold, i started the helo with the Quickstart Hotkey, i only had to change the Switch on the left down panel to Groundcrew, it works. so i assumed it has to do with some switche or the position, but would be nice to know the difference in settings between parkposition (dark and cold), and the Takoff position (Running engine) Regards Thomas

Hi, Didnt find nothing, thing is it doesnt work as in the Manual. I Tried a Mission on a FARP there it worked..... hmmmm. I will try a little bit more, if i find it out i let you know what the prob was.... The only difference between the default and my own mission is, on the default mission i start the helo with the Quickstart combination Home+LWIN, on the own mission i have the situation that the Helo is already running (Takeoff position) Im sure it is because of my position (runaway) ore one switch or something is not on/off, set proparly Regards Thomas

Hi, Yes, also with door open and engine shut down, APU Off... but as in the manuel there should work both options, i guess its somehow a switch or a ground frequency which isnt set properly Regards Thomas

Hi, Im at the Airport Between Algy't and Bambora on the runaway. So i moved also to a park position and also to a Hangar but nothing. so tell me if io need a Support vehicle wich one i have to choose? i can find only Tank vehicels or external Power Support Do i have to change to a proper groundfrequency somehow? Hello All, I created my own mission at night, now i want to communicate with the groundcrew to change to the nightvisor but its inpossible. Situation: 1) Standing on Paved Ground 2) Engines Running 3) Door closed 4) Inter. Com Power = On (Switch UP) 6) Switch on the right side on Groundcrew I want to change to the Nightvisor, I never get a copy. what am i doing wrong?? Regards Thomas

Hello, Thanks for the Info, with autotrimm i meant the trimm (T) Option :) I tought sometihng like that the KA-50 doesnt have a dynamic trim. If i unterstand right, the Problem is only with non Forecefeedback Joysticks because of the centering spring they have... so without trim, i always have to keep the joystick in the right position in order to have a stable flight attitude. as real as possible would be no trim then..... (i could remove the centering spring from my Joystick (X52)) :) Regards Thomas

Hi All, I always play in Simulation mode as real as possible. trim the helo... hmm i dont trim, for me its easier to fly without trim, Auto trim isnt so good solved, you have to be in a very stable flight attitude in order that auto trim does what you expect (My experiences) The change to the Flight attitude is to extrem to direct, I would prefer to have a Manual trim option where you can trim +/- step by step, each controlled axis. This would allow you to eliminate slowly the pressure on the controllstick. And you can 'Feel' what you do.... Im Flying Helos in The Flightsimmulator 9/X since long time and had no Problems to handel the KA-50... Just a Familiarization thats it.... Regards Thomas

Hello, Im not able to reproduce the Error. What i did was the following: 1) i created a Mission, just placing the admiral kuzentsov in the sea, all standard settings (Default), 2) i saved the Mission startet it, then i had the cam view to the Carrier, 3) i canceld the mission (ESC --> Exit) then i had the CTD couldnt open the Launcher.exe till reinstalling DCS. My graphiccard is a NVIDIA 8500... befor i reinstalled the DCS, i updatet to the newest Graphic driver... May be it was such an issue...... Befor i runed DCS with the GeForce drvierversion 178.13 now 182.?? I createt some missions the issue didndt popup anymore Regards Thomas

Hi all, After i created a own Mission (just playing around, trying the Mission editor) i opened my own Mission, the Mission wasnt as expected, i pressed ESC to leave the Mission, and the Simulator crashed (Crash to Desktop). Now im not able to start the DCS Blackshark anymore after doubleclicking the Icon, the Windows Problem Screen opens with the Message, Launcher.exe .... a Unknow Problem occured... i can just choose, Send Problem or not..... DCS doesnt sart at all I had to reinstall thr Simulator, is this Problem known? i have fear to creat my own missons now because Reinstalling and installing is anoying My System: WinXP Home, SP3 German DCS: Blackshark version 1.0 Regards Thomas
