  3. no reply someone must be able to help?
  4. Thanks smokey i'd already figured that. Well let me explain why, I was trying to act as a FAC with the view from F10 (MAP) to view a target where I can obtain the long / lat coordinates. when I put them into the CDU as L/L and NOT UTM references and make them a waypoint (where the target is) the position is always slightly off to the actual target, anyone know why? I even noted the coordinates of the vehicle when I created the mission and still have the same problem, so it would seem there is a slight difference between the coordinates given on the map in f10 and the actual ones in the mission, yet when the AI fac calls a strike he is always spot on When I put 41 41 46N 0414240E into the above post - converter by eddie (thanks eddie) I get the following results the MGRS is 37T GG25602 19588 yet when i convert this in the cdu by pressing the L/L - UTM button i get GG25250 19008 So now I am more confused???????????????????????????????????
  5. Hi Guys anyone no if there is a way to calculate the UTM details from the long/lat grid reference details provided on the map, there must be a calculation for it ie 41 51 45N 41 48 56E to GG3374038371 update Well let me explain why, I was trying to act as a FAC with the view from F10 (MAP) to view a target where I can obtain the long / lat coordinates. when I put them into the CDU as L/L and NOT UTM references and make them a waypoint (where the target is) the position is always slightly off to the actual target, anyone know why? 7. I have various questions on this topics 1. Are there different types of trains ie passenger and cargo trains that run 2. is there a way to determine what train will be at a certain destination by a certain time, so an attack on it can be included in a mission ? Thanks for your help on this in advance
  8. Thats right the range at which the ground units attack the other units
  9. Ground unit engagement ranges Does anyone know what these are ie tanks t55, t80, mortars........... oh and what target may be selected first, ie what would a t55 attack first or a mortar if more than one type of target enters its range at the same time or does it just target the nearest enemy?
  10. If I run through the unguided bomb training mission and navigation here are errors because I cant follow the training properly?
