    The Game Avionics mode was the culprit. I'm slightly embarrassed to admit how long I'd had this problem for but I'm super keen to get stuck in now. Thanks to all who responded

    I've got the same problem. I've unchecked the game flight mode box. The DCS options.lua file contains the following line: ["easyFlight"] = false, Despite this, the Mig 29 from flaming cliffs comes in with the "cheat" radar up on the top right hand side of the screen and the F-18's controls are in game mode, not sim mode. Was a solution ever found?
